The Dark Knight and the Doctors

Went to see The Dark Knight last night. It was freaking packed, more packed than I have ever seen out little movie theater ever be and they wouldn't let us inside to wait for the theater so we all had to stand outside in the hot humid Florida sun for at least a half an hour just to get into the theater. It was craziness out there, but let me just say that the movie more than made up for the sweaty factor.

I really like everyone in the cast, most of them are people that I would pay to go see their movies with just them by themselves but for all of them to be together is like a big Christmas present of fun. Everyone's performance was very good, but sadly it did feel like there were a few people who were underused, namely Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and actually Christian Bale. I would have liked more of the Bruce Wayne aspect in the movie, but what can you do?

Just as good as the movie were the 3 awesome trailer we got to see, Quantom of Solace, Watchmen and Terminator: Salvation. Let me say that I have already seen these on the internet, but that is nothing like seeing them on the big screen. Watchmen in particular was most impressive.

The Doctors: First Doctor Who and the episode Turn Left. What is up with Donna and her parallel universes? Very glad for the return of Rose even though I knew she was coming back and was not surprised at all I has just so glad to see her. I had no idea what she whispered to Donna at the end, but my husband was kind enough to clue me that there were really only two words that it could be. I think that was my favorite part of the episode at the end when the Doctor was talking to Donna and figured out what was going on.

Doctor Horrible's sing along blog was very enjoyable, although it ended rather abruptly. It had so much lovable-Jossness in it how could I not love it? NPH was so funny and sympathetic as Doctor Horrible who lost what he loved to get what he desired. Loved it when Captain Hammer ran out crying from his injuries.
