So yeah was playing guitar hero 3 and thought of something that made me laugh. Think Guitar hero game meets Dance Dance Revolution mat in the form of the guitar hero notes! obviously it would not be good for a whole game but it would be a fun homemade mod! Imagine playing Dragonforce 
not dooable, but still a fun thing to try and replicate in DDR form 
. Would be a downright laugh with friends!

if i had any grasp on mechanics and modding i would! but at the present time i have no idea how to do it

Well. We've tried it here before. StepMania (Open Source version of DDR) where we put a song from GH3 into it, and made it at least a challenge (if not impossible) and then we picked the song in GH3. Started them both at the same time (not even a 1 second delay) .. It was a blast. But it's the only song you're gonna play for the rest of that day

lol it is an original idea, not the best though some kalmah or dragon force would kill your feet
