i'd say a gamer that could really care less about graphics and go for gameplay. like me!

Casual Gamer : one who is a mom or grandma and plays brain age and wii fit.

It's all about the mindset.
I've invested over $4,000 into gaming this generation, own over 40 titles, and have at least one console (usually my 360) on all the time when I'm in the room. Yet, I consider myself a casual gamer.
I game to have fun. It's a leisurely past time. I don't care about 4xAA, resolution that's not quite 1080p, review scores, the occasional frame rate dip, or any other petty arguments people bring up that makes a game seem "broken" to them.
