I'm Liam Powell (middle name Thomas), I'm 16 and am from Merthyr Tydfil South Wales. I was born into a sort of broken up family (my father's mother died, he doesn't really bother with his father (won't go into details), so my auntie and uncle on my father's side sort of took their place (they're lovely people, I can't honestly tell them apart from real grandparents). My mother's side are alive and well, although my great grandmother died 6 - 8 years ago. I have a younger brother named Cai, who's 11 now. My parents split up a few years ago, but I still see my father 3 times a week despite my mom getting full custody. I went to a primary school that taught religious ideas (not forced them, however; during assemblies we'd sing religious songs and sometimes the Vicar would come and read a passage from the Bible) and I enjoyed my time there. I moved to High School 5 years ago and it's been hard to fit in, but I have a dozen 'nd a half decent friends to pass the school time. I recently finished my GCSE exams (and to be honest, I know I haven't done as well as I should have) and I am staying on for the Sixth Form to do my AS and A-Levels. My main interests involve gaming (currently playing nothing; damn my broken PC >_> (posting from my moms laptop)), reading (currently reading The Cat Who Walks Through Walls), movies (recently saw There Will Be Blood; gonna see Jacob's Ladder and The Dark Knight next), sport (rugby (I absolutely LOVE watching it) and tennis (only recently) and music (not really bothered though). I used to do karate (did it for 2 years, got to Green belt I think, then gave up), I had swimming lessons when I was younger (when I swam a whole mile (1.75km) in a 25m swimming pool, I decided to give up) and I used to train pretty lightly with my father (should start this again, I need to get in shape >_>). Other interests are space (there's just something about the unknown that appeals to me. It's pretty beautiful aswell), maths (well, I think I'm pretty good with numbers and stuff ), some poetry (lulz, rarely though) and photography (just a mild appeal). My ambitions are to go into space (LOL, no-one can take away my dreams right? ) and becoming a movie director. Phew, that's my life. w00tor.
