This movie is really great. I expected it to be something special when I learned that it has the same director and two stars from Batman Begins, which I also thought was great. There is great acting and dramatic and well written scenes, as well as enough twists and turns to exctie just about anyone. By the end, I was surprised, but I didn't come away feeling cheated. I couldn't stop thinking about it after it finished, which is alos a sign of its quality.

I really wanted this to be funny. The first three were great, and the third was really funny. I though this one would be atleast close to the quality of the third, but it's not. Many of the jokes are the same kind of slap stick from Scary Movie 3, only hardly any of them work. It seems like they ran out of material. While there are some laughs to be had, I just didn't have that much fun. Plus, the better jokes were given away by the previews. I hope the inevitable Scary Movie 5 will be better, and I hope the writers will take a break and allow more original and hilarious ideas to enter their minds.

I love this movie. It can't be taken as a normal comedy, because even the people who made it themselves know that it is something different. While the plot is non existent, I really don't care. I've watched all the scary movies, and this is by far the funniest. It doesn't rely on gross-out humour. Some of the jokes are stupid, but if you actually listen to the dialogue, it's pretty witty, and I love that about this movie. Of course, there are plenty of slapstick jokes that work just as well. I have never laughed as hard in any other movie. If you haven't seen it, and you don't mind watching a movie without an engaging plot, then watch it already!

Okay. I have rated this movie on its own scale, not looking at acting, cinematography, and script. Te truth is that to enjoy Epic Movie you should go to the theatre expecting absolutely nothing, and you may walk away with a smile. Epic Movie really doesn't care about the quality of storytelling (there basically isn't any). It obviously doesn't care about believability (one girl gets her head kicked off, only to have it magically back on it the next scene). All Epic Movie cares about is throwing as many jokes at you as it can is it's short running time. If you come to the theatre with an open mind, you may find something to like about this movie. I knew it would be stupid, and it was, but I found myself laughing at a number of jokes. While not all worked, it was still worth the time.
