Last weekend me and my mom finally finally got that new Verizon Digital Cable and Fios (internet). We got rid of Comcast Digital Cable cuz it cost to much money and verizon is cheaper. Everything is great but when I tried to connect my 360 wireless adapter to the modem it wouldn't connect. I tried everything but nothing worked so I looked on the internet to see how to fix this and it turns out the modem verizon gave me is the only modem that is not compatible with the wireless adapter. Im not the only one who has this problem, it seems that everybody who has verizon fios and has a 360 wireless adapter can't connect it to the modem. I called verizon and they told me there was a firmware update that will fix this problem so I tried it and it didn't work. So the only thing left I can do buy a wireless router and connect it to my modem if I ever wanna play on xbox live again . So for the meantime I guess im gonna be on gamespot more often so im back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................................... damn you verizon fios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres a thing called a wireless Ethernet bridge. How it works: Its a wireless hub connected to your Xbox via Ethernet (Or any other device that has an RJ45 port) and it allows multiple devices to connect to your wireless network. Just do a web search. They are inexpensive and work as they should. Cheap alternative to the Microsoft peripheral.
Heres one: http://reviews.cnet.com/wireless-access-points/linksys-wet54g-wireless-g/4505-3265_7-30460920.html
There are cheaper ones.
