Today, I'm sitting in a comfy hotel room in Madisonville, Texas. We are in the Lone Star State for the OU/Texas A&M football game later tonight (GO SOONERS!). It's nice to have a short weekend trip to get away from the stress of the pending election, school, and all that other stuff we all do every single day. I had a THIRD job interview Thursday night - looks like this one might be serious about hiring me. He wanted to meet my hubbie, which had never happened to me before - interesting. I think it is mainly because we would be relocating and he wants to make sure that is viable for both of us.
OK, back to business, I want to remind everyone to vote on Tuesday, November 7th. Think your vote doesn't count? A recent race in Oklahoma was decided by less than ten votes. Yes, you do count! And besides, if you don't vote, you can't complain later about those who win
So regardless of which party you are, get out and vote on Tuesday!!!
See you at the polls!

Gee, I missed posting a new blog entry on Friday. That should tell you how my week has been.
I'm getting down to the wire on school...last day December 8th. That means everything is crazy right now. And of course, elections are right around the corner so I'm busy with all that stuff. I actually recorded two radio commercials for the campaign I'm working with. Don't worry, I haven't had an agent call so I'm not yet famous
Anyway, in the middle of all this stuff, I did get to talk to my oldest granddaughter, who is 7. She's growing up so fast. We were talking about animals and she said she liked reading books about them because she's an animal lover, she knows about animals, and she is part animal. After I stopped laughing, I asked her what part of her was animal? She said (this is priceless), "I have the focus of a cheetah and the feet of a tiger!" So that's my new motto until I finish school
I'm back this week to a little reading and posting on tv.com. Feels like I've been away for a month. Thanks, Rochelle, for checking on me!

I love dogs. Big ones, little ones, furry ones or short hair - but what I don't love is unwanted or abandoned dogs. It's so sad and heartbreaking to see. One way to reduce pet overpopulation is to spay or neuter your animals. It is healthier for your animals by preventing reproductive cancers.
And, if you want to adopt a dog, consider a "shelter" dog - you'll be making two lives better - yours and a very grateful dog whose life you saved. You'll be a hero!
Here's a web page with facts about spay/neuter programs:

Some people just don't have opinions. Like stuckeysokc.
stuckeysokc must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could stuckeysokc possibly have for not rating a single film?
