Family Guy

Let me first say that before Family Guy was a major player in the world of animated sitcoms, I loved it. I watched it from the very beginning. My heart sank when I heard it had been cancelled and it nearly skipped a beat when I learned that it had been picked up again by FOX. My first concern though was that season 1-3 had been so good that I felt it would be hard to top them. However Season 4 was amazing and everything that I had hoped Family Guy would be on it's return. The thing is though that now I am being discontented witht the direction Family Guy is going in. It worries me that the creators such as Seth MacFarlane are okay with just putting out any old episode and not caring if it succeeds or fails. The later seasons such as 6 and 7 haven't been the greatest episodes let's face it but the new episodes have really got me aggitated. I cannot think of one good episode this season with the same magic or hilarity of the first few seasons. I suppose that it's really none of my concern but the show should really try and get back to it's roots and once agin become a laugh-a-minute show that lights up the 21 minutes that it is on for.
