Seriously, this new advance wars has just blown me away. I loved the first three installments of the series but didn't connect as well with Dual Strike and Black Hole Rising as much as I did with the first... Well this one, for me, brings it back. It takes it back to the basics but also revamps it at the same time... Cuts down the amount of units, obnoxiously powerful CO powers, and the RPG element that could rig your CO even more. In other words, they balanced this game out hardcore.

The storyline is much, much darker(and it's reflected in the art style). And this time around the story is actually halfway decent... Not really generic "lol im gonna take over teh world in my darth vader-esque outfit." So far, I'm on chapter 25. Haven't started 25 yet because I'm gonna go play SSBM for quite a while.

Also: Elite Beat Agents is a pretty dang amazing game.

Well, update time.

I bought a new DS Lite since my old one was stolen(release day DS, with my Mario Kart in it, no less!) and I bought a few games as well. As of right now, I'm crazy addicted to Phoenix Wright and as soon as I finish it I'm gonna go buy the sequel. The one game I'm totally missing is Meteos but that problem should be rectified soon. Anything else I want to play, I just rent them for free. I work at blockbuster gamerush, you see =)

What else am I playing... Ah yes, Portal. Man, that game owns. Xbox live is coming soon, I'm excited to get some TF2 action.
