After the exciting but sometimes tedious second installment of pirates last year i was slightly weary going into this one with the 2hr 45 min running time. However unlike Pirates2(in which at times i was checking my watch to see how long was left) i was fully into Pirates 3. Great action (ship battles at the end are amazing) Great effects (Davy Jones will probably be the best thing created with CGI in a long long time) Brilliant Johnny Depp as always (nice little cameo from Ronny Wood though i was expecting a little more) Also the surreal stuff with Sparrow as his time in the locker had messed with him so we get to see multiple Sparrows onscreen.

Only thing that bothered me was:
Chow Yung Fat was completely underused
Keira Knightley was probably given a little too much screen time

Hope for more pirates one day but not too soon
