Harvey Korman was one of the best comedians and along with Tim Conway helped make "The Carol Burnett Show" one of the most popular shows during its run. Harvey began his career from working on radio and worked his way up to appear on a program put on by the late great actor Danny Kaye. After a short stint with that program, Harvey voiced the mysterious Great Gazoo on the popular prime time animated series, "The Flintstones". Harvey also played roles in a few movies and his best known movie was "Blazing Saddles" by Mel Brooks. Sadly Harvey Korman passed away in 2008. We have truly lost a great talent with his passing.

Don Messick was one of the first actors to lend his voice to an animated series for television with Hanna Barbara's Ruff 'n Ready series. Don did the voice of the cat Ready and several other characters on the program. Don went on to do many other voices and his best known character was Scooby Doo. Don had an amazing talent for doing multiple characters in one show and would often do the lines one after another switching from one character to another. This sometimes led to confusion with the director. Sadly, Don passed away in 1997 and joined the list of other great voice actors who have passed on.

Rob Paulson has done some of the most outlandish cartoon characters since he has been a voice actor. Some of these include, Rapheal from Teenage Mutant Turtles, Yakko Warner from Animaniacs, Rueben (Experiment 625) from Lilo & Stitch, Pinky from Pinky and the Brain, and Carl Wheezer from Jimmy Neutron. These are some classic characters. Rob can still do the famous skit from animaniacs called "Nations of the World" where he sings all the nations of the world in less than 3 minutes. He is definitely one of the most talented voice actors in the field today. I hope that he continues his fantastic work.

Tad Stones started out with Disney and worked for them for over 25 years and had a lot of imput on the Disney cartoons of the late 1980's and early 1990's. He created and produced my favorite of these, a show called Darkwing Duck. He left Disney in 2004 to work for another studio where he could have a little more artistic freedom to create new cartoons. His latest project has been the Hellboy made-for-television animated movies that were shown on Cartoon Network. He has also had a hand in the Turok: Son of Stone feature. I wish that he could produce some more of the cartoons he used to with Disney.

Greg has accomplished the feat of winning a Craftsman Truck championship and then followed that up by winning a Bush Series championship. No other NASCAR driver has ever done this and Greg has a great chance to win a Sprint Cup championship too. He has been one of my favorite drivers since I saw him racing in the Craftsman Truck Series. I also like the fact that Greg and his wife are big into animal cruelty prevention. His performance in the Sprint Cup Series shows his talent and abilities to drive. I'm sure that one of these years he will win a title.

David Ragan is the "new kid on the block" with the Roush Racing organization. He took over the #6 AAA Ford Fusion from Mark Martin. David had a rough start in the NASCAR series and has shown a great deal of improvement in the 2008 season. A number of his peers say that he has shown a lot of maturity for only his second season in the Sprint Cup and he was the highest finishing non-chase driver for 2008. He is coming very close to winning his first race. David has shown that he does not get angered easily on the track and that has worked well in his favor. I look forward to seeing his first Sprint Cup win in the near future.

Matt Kenseth got his chance to race in the Sprint Cup (back then, the Winston Cup) thanks to Mark Martin. Mark saw the potential in Matt and got Jack Roush to bring him on board. Matt has proven Mark right on his pick over the years and now has a championship to prove it. Matt is usually very cool under pressure and doesn't let very many things get to him. He is one of the more respected drivers on the circuit today. Matt's team was owned by Mark at one time before Mark left Roush to drive for someone else. Matt is one of the drivers that I root for every race. Go Matt!!!!!

Katie Leigh is a talented voice actress. She played the character Honker Muddlefoot in one of my favorite series, Darkwing Duck. I can also remember her role as Sunni Gummi in the series Gummi Bears. I have really enjoyed how she has added spark to the characters she has given her voice to. She has a great sense of humor and it shows in her acting ability. I hope her work on the radio series Odyssey of Adventure continues. I can also remember her role as Baby Rowlf in Jim Henson's Muppet Babies. Now her children are starting to pick up on the trade.

Terence McGovern is a talented and funny voice over actor who has worked on several series as a voice over actor and regular actor. His most known role was as Launchpad McQuack in the Disney cartoon series Ducktales and Darkwing Duck. This was one of my favorite characters to watch when I was younger, especially the Darkwing Duck series. Terence McGovern also made up a word that has now become famous, especially to all the Star Wars fans when he blurted out the word "wookie" when he was working on the set of THX1138 and George Lucas hear him. I will always remember the hilarious voice of the character, Launchpad McQuack, and associate it with Mr. McGovern.

Since Jamie came on board with Roush Racing (my favorite racing team in NASCAR), he has been on a learning curve. His first season with Roush was dismal, but since then he has greatly improved. He has had a lot of bad luck and most of it was just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He has won 2 races in his career (1 of those was at Daytona with Roush Racing) and has had a lot of top fives and top tens. He is looking forward to the 2009 season because he will be working with his former crew chief, Donny Wingo. I hope he continues to improve and maybe he will win that elusive championship someday.

Carl is one the most talented drivers in NASCAR. He drives for Jack Roush and has already won several races and a Nationwide championship in his short career in NASCAR racing. He is one of the most popular drivers. Every time he wins, he does his trademark backflip off of the car. He never keeps the trophies he wins and always gives them to a child in need. Carl does show his temper from time to time, but is generally a really great person. He is also one of the most physically fit drivers in NASCAR, along with Mark Martin (a former teammate).

Mark Martin is one of the greatest race car drivers of all time. He is a true gentleman on the track and rarely ever causes a wreck. He is the most respected driver on the circuit right now. Mark Martin has won the IROC series 5 times, a feat matched only by another great driver, Dale Earnhart. I started following Mark Martin in 1992. I picked him as my favorite driver because of his style of driving. He was never too aggressive on the track, unlike some of the other drivers. He really began to enjoy success when he joined Jack Roush and they built one of the top teams in NASCAR today.

He is hilarious as Bender and as Dr. Drakkon in Kim Possible. He has a unique voice that if you hear it you will recognize that it is John behind the voice of a character. They just released a new Futurama movie focusing on Bender. Hopefully there will be many more to come and also hopefully he will continue his work on Kim Possible as Dr. Drakken.

Harry Morgan has been a favorite actor of mine since I saw him in the series M*A*S*H. He has a knack for playing a comedic role as a rough and tough character. He was hilarious in "Support Your Local Sheriff" with James Garner playing the lead and Harry Morgan as the mayor of the town. Then he was in the movie "Support Your Local Gunfighter" again with James Garner. He was great in both of those and many other movies and television shows. His style of acting is very unique and we will probably never see anyone like him again. Thank you for entertaining us Harry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
