Either buying them, renting them or borrowin them... My expected games for this month are

And well, it is a shame that another game that was going to be released this month has been delayed for next year 
But if you consider it, that makes next year a great one for gaming too... Great!!!
October is going to be a great month!!!

The 1st two are on my list already, like johnsteed, I'll play anything Tim Schafer makes. I'm bummd about Alpha Protocol getting pushed back too, I can't understand why Sega would wait till the last minute to delay it. Obviously Obsidian thought they were done.

Alpha Protocol has been delayed to 2010 dude.
Good list however. Add to that DJ Hero, Forza 3 and Ballad of Gay Tony for me and that's what I'm getting... oh, and remove NBA and FIFA though.

I'm waiting for Brutal Legend. Not much else of interest right now. Well there is the GTA IV DLC too. I might be picking up some older titles that I've not played yet.

Totally agree with johnsteed7, Uncharted 2 is a must have for me.

Never been too much of a video-game-sports fan, but yeah, Brutal Legend and Borderlands look great. Lot of good games this holiday. The crazy thing is, there will be a ton more right after the holiday.

BL and Borderlands are on my pre-order list already so will be getting them in the post when they come out.

im with you all the way on Brutal Legend that game is going to be awesome. I was going to say "that game is going to rock" but that sounded to cliche. Also will be getting Fallout 3 GOTY edition.

FIFA 10 is awesome, you should enjoy that. I may get Borderlands, not sure yet. November: Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition!!!
