A selection of my favourite, all time, depression consoling romance films. If you've had a bady day, these are the films you need.

My pick of the best and most entertaining movies set in the past. It was a great place, the past. Only those films which are set in the first half of the 20th century or earlier and have become personal classics will appear in the list.

I adore Sci-Fi, but I am very picky about my all time favourites. He is the list ;)

You know the ones - real life made all fuzzy by magic or epic adventure which in the end isn't real. Only the good ones make it to this list.

They're fun. They're meant for kids. I'm just a big kid at heart. Only my real favouites are on this list.

They're brutal, raw and sometimes heart breaking but strangely enough these films are high on my list of favourites. Strictly the best for this list.

Crime and Thillers are not usually my first picks when I got to the movies. I'm usually more of a drama/sci-fi kinda hippo, but I confess that every now and then I am impressed by a crime or thriller film. This is a short list of my favourites.

All of the times the film producers ruined the integrity of excellent TV Shows. Far too many, I'd say

These films might have looked OK at the time they were released, or not, but let's just say the acting or special effects or even the story is comically unbelievable.

Hippos, the grand and gentle giants have long been featured in Films. Though not as popular as the African favourites Lions and Tigers, the Hippo has always been a consistent presence. Why create a list you say? Well why not ;)
