So, oddly enough, here is another Gamerscore update, I don't really know why, but between this update, and the last one I sent you, I was mad addicted to my 360! Normally my console that sits around that I tend to only play late at night in my room with a monitor whenever I'm not in the mood to play my Dreamcast instead, but I simply could not put the damn controller down!

So I guess the result of that, is yet another slow 1000G crawl from 5k to 6k.

Hopefully I'll be able to snag some more easy gamerscore here and there.

Ended up snagging a copy of Sneak King for 2 dollars, so that has been a lot of fun, and I also found out that 1 Vs. 100 has achievements, and it's really fun, I'll probably be paricipating in those more often!

Thanks for readin' all, have a good'n.

So, my Xbox live account "Indead" just hit 5000 Gamerscore today, don't know why I'm posting this.

I definitely would not label myself a Gamescore whore by any means, seeing as it took me roughly two years to "achieve" 5K.

Are any of you big Gamerscore freaks?

If not...what do you think about them? I think Gamerscore can be fun, but I tend to go for the absurd ones, where you have to do countless monotonous tasks, and I don't why know...

Responses in comments please!

So, I have just passed my 350 total game count mark, and I'm beginning to question myself.

By this point, any attempt at Quality vs. Quantity has been eliminated.

I look at this collection and I just wonder, why do I have sooooo many games?! I rarely beat them for one thing, I doubt I could find even 10 games in this entire collection that I've completed before, and I'm not joking there. Go ahead, try me.

I mean, damn, that is a lot of games. how much money has gone into these games!?

Let's just try to consider this, 350 games, and the cheapest any of them were, was $1.00 although I do have a nice handful that were free. So let's just take out maybe 50 games, that's still 300 right? price that at 1.00. That's 300 dollars. But I mean look at titles like GTA 4, that I bought brand new, now we're at... 359 dollars. See what I'm getting at here?

There has been a lot of money that I have dumped into these games, and I'd be heart broken if even one of them went missing or got broken, or damaged beyond repair. So it's easy to see that I love each and every one of them, of course some more than others, but I mean that's like having 350 children! Sure...children that can go free and stay out as late as they want, and get drunk....but children either way!

I will admit though, I do go back and buy a lot of crappy games that I played as a kid and have always wanted to remember, or even games that even by the standards of a few years ago have been rendered unplayable. Hell, I even payed $3.00 for Shaq Fu just to have it.

I'm honestly not sure what I'm even getting at here, but if anything I think it is this.

That I have been moving too quickly. I have amassed over 350 games since I first began playing games over a decade ago, and I'm not sure if I'm proud of that. I think I'd much rather say, I have fully completed over 50 games in the past decade, but I am unable to say that, because that would be a lie.

Are any of you out there in my situation? More games than you will ever have time to play, and a minscule handful of them actually powered through and beaten?

I'm really beginning to think that at a time like this, where I have barely any money(Oh no! not the economy card! No seriously, I don't have a job), and more than enough games to play that I need to slow the nonexistant bank roll, and just sit down and play a few good ass games. Funny how at the time of this writing (2:29 AM July 3rd. 2009) I have another game or two in the mail coming from ebay.

If any of you out there have been or are in this sort of position, where you have too many games, and you haven't devoted enough time to just one or a select few of them, please tell me what you've done to get over that, or if you havne't yet, tell me what you're doing. I'm really interested to see what my fellow Gamespotters have to say about this.
