Yep, ive been away for a long time once more, mostly due to a vacation a week and a half ago..well if you can call it that. I went canoeing on the allagash River in northern maine. We didnt do the whole river, but most of it, and also went nearly 15miles on the St John R. Our trip totalled 80 miles. Great place, really hard trip but not as much as i thought it would be.
Anyways, last Thursday I went to see Chickenfoot, which is Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, and chad Smith, drummer for Red hot Chili Peppers. They were a real amazing band id probly see again if they were to put new material out. Satch is an awesome guitar player. One song he soloed with his teeth, and Chad went through 20 drumsticks each song. The opening band is unknown, but they were good, Back Door Slam. I recommend both
9/10
Im also seeing Heaven and Hell, one of my fav bands, and then the Allman Bros, this week.
Movies:
I saw Gl First Flight recently. Though it was good at times, the lack of character development weakened it. Hal Jordan for example, was given next to nothing backstory. I wouldve prefered more involvement with Korugar, Sinestros home planet. Nonetheless it had its good minutes, and i liked watching the geoff johns interview.
7/10
Also watched this abysmal movie last night, Super Capers. Stay away from that one.
.5/10
Movies im looking forward to are Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Wolfman, Green Lantern (live action)the inevitable Sinestro Corps War animated movie already hinted at heavily, and iron man 2.
