Yo ho ho my female dogs, define that which is elevated?
On the gaming front, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 has been rocking the odd night that I have any time at all. Don't believe the "more of the same" reviews, it's much more than that. The online is intense and the missions are very cool.
Other than that I have been enjoying my Street Fighter II HD Remix. It's fun.
Demos? Skate2 is very cool.. although samey.. I haven't had enough time to really dig into my FEAR2 demo yet. But it seems cool. LOTR-C was a bit better than I expected, but it still feels like Return Of The King to me a bit.
Rockband (girls night) was fantastic. Who knew girls could drum on medium on like the first try? Yeah!
So all in all it has been a wonderful January. Cable internet is up and rocking. It's not quite as stable as DSL, but when it's fast it's REALLY fast.
This year I am looking forward to picking up Tomb Raider Underworld for $10 used, hopefully being able to affiord Tiger Woods PGA 09, FF XIII (?) and GOW 3. That's all. Not much to ask for.
Haha I am watching this skate boarding documentary right now, don't know what it is called, but these guys take themselves waaay seriously. Considering they play with a kids toy for a living.
Actually I don't think they do, but the film makers put it together like it's super heavy and serious. Probably Canadian.
Hey since I am probably offending everyone in this post, might as well talk about Canadian movies. I am from Canada, and I love my country and the artists it spawns, but Canadian movies are easy to spot from a mile away. Dark. Bleak. Depressing.
The happiest Canadian movie in years was this "Bad Cop, Bon Cop" thing and it was shot through a blue filter because I guess it looked too sunny for the canadian film makers. I think the film schools up here must have profs that all resemble House MD. lol
So there is your slice of Spanky for January. Don't stop - believing.. hold on to that feelayeeyaying
