Today is actually my for real birthday, and I have celebrated by picking up a copy of Rockband for my PS3.

I picked it up used, game only, for $30 and am pleased as punch. I already have a mic and a guitar, so I have been rocking the heck out for the past 42 hours. What a fantastic title.

Other than that, I got breathalized on the way home from a dinner date tonight.

Odd situation because I don't drink, and explained that to the officer, who proceeded to suggest that I was lying, and asked me to blow into a breathalizer.

Truth is I haven't drank socially in 5 years. He looked genuinely bummed when I blew 0.0. Sorry to disapoint. I'm sure some half loaded threat to society drove in later and made his day.

Anyhow, happy birthday to me! I am loving life and rocking out in most every way.

I am hoping for a used Rockband drum kit, but would be just as happy with a new carpet.
