Having read a good deal of blogs, reviews, and whatnot, I have a question.  Why are there so many spelling and grammar errors?  See the little button that say "Spell Check"?  Why don't you use it?  How hard is it to hit that button? I don't know about you, but I judge people ( and what they write) by their spelling and grammar.  It's so irritating to read some of these posts, and you are trying to figure out what they mean.  Maybe English is not their first language, I don't know.

Mis-spelled words make me doubt the integrity of what I read, and the intelligence of the people who write it. Maybe it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but it is something that just bugs the heck out of me.

People, if you want to be taken seriously, spell-check your words, watch the grammar, and lay off punctuation marks and caps that are totally unnecessary.  I just read a blog where every sentence ended in an exclamation point. Its distracting to say the least. Writing and making your point known is difficult due to the lack of inflection and nuance. What may be a perfectly innocent comment can look obnoxious and mean when written out.

Think before typing, and we'll all be happy.  Sorry to vent but this has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time.  It's nice to have a place to sound off, and I'm sure no one will even read this.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like sonique291.
sonique291 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could sonique291 possibly have for not rating a single film?
