The crow films and comics stick to the main formula of get killed, come back, follow bird, and fill all bad guys. Then oh crap, one last bad guy and finish. This outing, they try to add a bit of mystery to it and make it into a crime drama... and fail miserably. The dialogue is sub par and even the best actror can't float this clunker. The only thing worst than this outing is the next.

What the hell was that! The series was going great but it seemed like they where trying to phase out Blade to bring in the Darkstalkers, why? People came to this movie expecting Blade kicking anus as the last two flicks but instead we're stuck with Ryan Reynolds flinging one liners and listening to Parker Posey struggle with the material and her fangs. There was almost no direction for the audience to follow, no focus villian and no reason to keep watching after the first 5 minutes. Big miss and a lousy way to close out the series.

I'm really in the middle of the road on this one. Not a bad adaptation but not a great movie either. I know the Ghost Rider myth very well and really didn't like the changes. Nicolas Cage wasn't right for this film, great actor but visually wrong...

Nicolas Cage wasn't right for this film, great actor but visually wrong (the hairpiece was REALLY distracting). The special effects really kept the flick a float and they were truly outstanding. This is really just a popcorn flick and not a true comic movie. Don't believe me, just compare this to any of the Spiderman or X Men movies. Nice try Hollywood, but no dice.

The scenes with the aliens where slow and deliberate like the original Alien movie and the predators get thier justice since they where all but obliterated in the last outing. This time they send in a TRUE bad@$$. The movie made you want to watch until the end. The only real loser in the AvP battle is the stale acting, save the films lead. The plot is weak and there is no backstory of intrest and to the chagrin of most hardcore gamefans, he didn't even use his favorite weapon of choice, the garrot. The female lead is pointless and that just wraps everything up that should hopefully steer enough people away from this film. Hollywood botched another video game.

If there was ever a doubt to Tim Burton's genious all they need to do is watch this film. Until this film, the legend was just a joke told around Halloween time but this retelling is awsome. Burton's imagery and the need to cover Johnny Depp in as much blood as possible captures the audiance and doesn't let go until the slam shut ending. I love this film.
