So, my birthday was pretty good. I got just about everything I asked for (no Street Fighter, which I'm not dissapointed with not having). When my dad came home yesterday, I recieved Gears of War 2, Uncharted, new headphones, and a couple Wii points cards. No Cross Edge...yet. My dad said that he still had money for CE leftover, so he's gonna keep looking for it. That's nice of him.
Also, my mom visited and gave me $50, which, in addition to my previous $50 from my dad's mom, gives me $100 total. I also have another $75 to look forward to from my mom's parents ^_^ I'm definately getting Mana-Khemia 2 when it comes out in August.
In case you were wondering how my kung-fu class went last night, I'm in pain. Instead of doing punches like we usually do, Master decided to give a birthday treat in the form of a sparring session...with him. I promptly got steamrolled. I took a bunch of kicks because he kicks so damn fast, and I got a couple hard rib shots.
The worst part about sparring him, besides the intimidation factor, is his uniform. He wears a loose, white gi, which basically means that when he throws a bunch of punches, all you can really see is white. I managed to block (he was being polite, so I can't really say I did) a few punches, but because one of his arms was blocking my vision, I didn't see the last punch. I took that punch square in the mouth. No bleeding luckily, but it hurt. The last thing of note in that sparring session, was I managed to get one good punch in, completely by luck. I got Master in the face a little bit, and we bowed to acknowledge the point. Next thing I know, he spins, and backhands me in the side of the head. Ouch. That's another thing. With a lot of the moves Master does, I can't even see him move. It's unreal. I kick, and before I could blink, Master swept me, and countered. I was left thinking "What the hell just happened?" Yeah
Anyway, I'm cutting it here. I've got games to play
One thing before I go: what should I buy with my Wii points? I'm thinking of getting Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG, and/or Bomberman Blast. Got any suggestions?
Comments
Out of the games you suggested I would get A Link to the Past. However, you should probably get Secret of Mana or Mega Man 9 instead (awesome games!). If you have them already or don't intend to buy them, then I would defenitly go with A Link to the Past (it's my favourite Zelda and yeah, I DO like it more then Ocarina of Time).
Kung-Fu sounds pretty painful. Keep practicing though
Let's see here... Out of your list, I'd say Majora's Mask. Definitely my favourite Zelda, but then again I haven't played that or OoT since I was about 11. But I love both of them so much... Actually, you can't go wrong with either. Go go go!
