I've been telling people on the bball team that. The hood bein Maryland of course. Not really a hood, but it's funny. I'll just be like "that is how we do it in da hood!" at random. Then before we had a game tuesday I was like "imagine how cool we would be if we all had matching wristbands!" (somebody kindly pointed out gay was a better word than cool). So I wore one today. That's talent. And now more people are. I'm such a trednsetter. We had a game tuesday to a team we lost to in a tournemant. It was hilarious. Not only did we win 40-14, but my 16 points outscored their whole team. Their ENTIRE team. Then today we played a team that beat the schools A team by 20 last year (techinaally, were the white team, but top 8 players go to blue, or A, then 4 to B, 4 to A, and last 8 go to B). Not only did we beat them, we handled them. We won 49-37. Had they not had one kid, we would've won by 25 again. But man does our team do sh*t! Like 6 teachers were playing in the "north gym" today after school, and our team saw them so we were watching thorugh the window in the door. And one person stayed back for like 2 minutes after we left. Or how on the bus tuesday we said our prayers on the way to the game. "Baruch ata adunie, etc. etc. asher kidishanu WE WANT A WIN!!!!" Then we cheered like banshees. And told the sevies they have to do that before every game. Then when we walk into oppising schools, we houl at them (hey, we're the wolves!). So how do we get rewarded? We have a 7 am practice tomorow. I guess it's cuz one of our guys mooned our coach on the bus (he was driving behind us) a couple weeks ago. Well let's hope for the snow to hold up.

HERES A FUN FACT: these kids in 8th grade have had ONE snow day in their lives. ONE!!!!!!! Pour souls. And it's so friggin cold here, and rains so much that's unbelieavable. But alas, 3 months into my life here (my dad said the next few winters were supposed to be very mild, the lying ass) we're gonna get one. That is good though.

But man, I said writing this on Friday, am I a good luck charm? The Thanksgiving temps were like record highs, and then I get these kids out of school for the second time in their lives, and the first in 6 years! And I didn't even force a power outage or anything! No practice, no nothing. So I got these kids outta school, got them an awesomely weathered TG, and got their B team from horrible to well at least decent. My poor friends in MD must be miserable. And I need is a medal guys, and well be cool.
