I know someone who still, to this day, does not have a television in his home. He is married, and has a son, and I hardly speak to them at great length, but that is one fact about him through all the 17 years that I have known him that is still true.

I can't imagine being that person.

There are thousands of people in the television industry that come together to produce these shows that we rant and rave about week after week. And I have a life - a busy one - that doesn't afford me a lot of opportunity to view a lot of new programming. I have had favorites since I was young - T.J.Hooker (shut up), Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Facts of Life, Friends, Will & Grace, Family Ties, ALIAS, and some others. With each one of these shows, I found myself investing so much energy and emotion. It is truly a spectacle and amazing thing that TV produces. The newest show to this list is Moonlight. My personal investment in this show is so captivating and contagious that I find myself wishing on Saturday morning that it was already Friday night again. There are times that I shake my head in dismay that I am so caught up in these fictional characters, but that is a testimony to the great work done by the writers and actors. Just like any other fantastic pop culture phenomenon, this show has gripped my love for the supernatural - the forbidden love - the question "What if they really exist?"

After shaking my head, and after being initially angered by the ending of the latest installment of my latest obsession, I giggle at the fact that I LOVE feeling this way - and my hat goes off to all the talented people who got me in this emotional WRECK.

Television is any amazing thing....

Some people just don't have opinions. Like snewzn.
snewzn must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could snewzn possibly have for not rating a single film?
