GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Well I finally got the phone connections fixed in my house so the internet and my network is up running again. I've spent most of the morning updating games, downloading things such as the Champions Online beta client for my desktop, GTA IV Lost and the Damned, Fable II Knothole Island, the two Fallout 3 DLC's that were released.

Anybody up for any MP goodness in the upcoming days, just send me a message.

This also means that I will get back to writing reviews and more frequent bog entries. My laptop isn't the best thing to type on so I was avoiding everything but posting with that. I owe reviews for Metroid Prime 3, The Godfather 2, Eat Lead, Blitz The League 2 and Persona 3... There are probably some others I'm missing and I'll have to look those up.

Well that's it for now.

Get ready for some awesome awesomeness with The Lost and The Damned. I think Mash Effect and I are the only people I know that actually played it on here. It is well worth the price.

I bought The Pitt for Fallout 3 here recently, and still haven't had time to check it out. I'm looking forward to that.

Luc11044: Yep unfortunately I have to go to work. I got most of the downloads done except for the Champions Online Beta, tht one I'll run over night. Can't wait to dive back into these games with some new content tonight after work.

rragnaar: I'm looking forward to it because I've heard nothing but good things about this expansion. I think I even read about it in Time magazine in a Dr. Office once.

I bought The Pitt and Operation Anchorage today and I'm thinking I'll just wait until the 5th to get the BoS DLC along with it and start a new character.

artur79: I think the reviews might have gotten an early edition of the game. There were no naked women walking the street, only one character fell through the floor and no cars have disappeared on me. It's not a good game by anymeans and it has very little to do with The Godfather besides cutscenes, but the Don's view, the family set up and some other things were pretty well designed. I got all 1000 points for it and it was entertaining to play. I also got it for $16 so that doesn't hurt.

I'm playing through the Godfather II right now and I'm enjoying it. It's not a perfect game by any means but GS is one of the only websites or magazine to have reviewed it with such a low score. Again, they were way off the mark on this review. It's a solid 7/10 from the hours I put in it right now....

Oh, okay, guess it's not as bad as people say then. I still think that Godfather games are an insult to the whole franchise. I wonder if Coppola is okay with this butchering of the memories of so many film lovers?
