Hi. This is my very first blog. I am writing about the great Vincent Edwards of Ben Casey fame. It hurts me to have to add "of Ben Casey fame". That is where most people remember Vincent from. He was an extremely underrated actor who was typecast after Ben Casey ended. That was his downfall for being too good in the role. Of course Ben Casey was a brilliantlly written show. The casting of Vincent Edwards couldn't have been more perfect. After Ben Casey ended he wasn't given the best scripts. He did elevate any movie or tv project he was cast in. Hollywood casting agents didn't do right by Mr. Edwards. He deserved better roles. He could hold his own with all the great actors in Tinseltown. I never once caught him "acting". I cannot say that about Robert Deniro and many others. Deniro is a great actor but there have been times when he hasn't lived up to his stature. Vincent Edwards passed away in 1996 from pancreatic cancer. I am so glad to see he is still beloved today by many fans who know class and talent when they see it. Google his name and see how widespread his popularity still is. I cannot believe Ben Casey is still not available on dvd. Also, his other tv series Matt Lincoln. I have been contacting distributors to try and have Matt Lincoln released on dvd. Universal owns it. This was a special series and deserves to be released on dvd. There were sixteen episodes plus the pilot film titled "Dial Hot Line". The best way to request MATT LINCOLN'S release on dvd is to e-mail Universal Home Entertainment e-mail: USHE.consumerrelations@bydeluxe.com or tel. 1-661-702-5132. Again, if you are a Vince fan like I am here is your chance to have at least one of his series on dvd. If they get enough e-mails it could make the difference. Thanks so much. also e-mail info@shoutfactory.com. or retail@shoutfactory.com. They have a license with Universal/

Hi. Today would have been Vince Edwards' 79th birthday. I know he is still beloved today by many like myself. Vince was a warm person with no pretense. He truly was a great actor. Ben Casey set the standard for medical shows. That standard has not beenmet thus far. He certainly was brilliant as Dr. Ben Casey. He is really missed by all his fans. Rest in peace Vincent Edward Zoino.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like sixtieschild.
sixtieschild must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could sixtieschild possibly have for not rating a single film?
