Well I thought that since a lot of my friends here have been posting blogs, I should get off my ass and post one besides even Chantal has posted two blogs in the last couple of weeks! Since it's getting late and I don't feel like typing out big paragraphs you are stuck with sentences!
- Sometime next week I should be going to take all of my food safety/management tests and finally maybe get my promotion at work.
- I finally finished that food safety cl@ss I was working on and scored a 93% on a post test so I am cautiously optimistic about passing the real test
- I recently joined the rest of the world (sometimes seems that way ) and bought my first cell phone. My phone doesn't have a camera, have a lot of the more high end features, but I don't really need all that anyways because I'm a simple man with simple needs so it's perfect for me!
- The guy that was supposed to be my replacement just up and quit last Saturday so now I am stuck having to go in at 5am again so thanks you sh!thead
- I also broke down and bought the first season (series for you foreign-types) of Torchwood and although I haven't had a chance to watch all of the episodes yet it still rocks!
- There seems to be a lot of talk about how Brett Farve, one of my absolute favorite football players wants to come out of retirement wqhich would be great altough it would seem weird to see him play for any team other that the Green Bay Packers!
- Saw The Black Knight last night and it was just fraking AMAZING, the story was great, the acting was phenomenal and Heath Ledger was especially amazing as the Joker what a great performance for people to remember him by!
- When I logged in earlier tonight, I was debating just logging off and going to bed but after reading all 652 posts
from Wednesday night's party and laughing my ass off I suddenly didn't feel so tired! I especially loved kait's comment about how I am always coming late to all of the parties was a good thing!
I would say sorry to Lee for not being there but I think that he seemed to be enjoying himself too much!
One more thing, I saw this in one of Alyssa's blogs and since I thought that it was a good idea, I decided to steal it. It is the Don't Forget the Lyrics one where I give you the line from a song and you have to tell me what song it was from! Hopefully people do better on this one than I did on hers since I did horrible at hers! There's actually have the titile to one of the songs included in the lyrics since I love that line so much! It settled on doing seven songs since I had a hard time narrowing them down here goes. Good Luck!
- The beer I had for breakfast tasted good so I had one more for dessert
- The desk clerk said he seen it all real clear, he never hit the brakes and he was shifting gears
- Four more exits to my apartment, but I am tempted to leave the car in drive and leave it all behind
- Drove downtown in the rain, 9:30 on a Tuesday night just to check out the late night record shop
- I want ot talk to you. The last time we talked Mr. Smith you reduced me to tears I promise you it won't happen again
- I never really gave up on breaking out of this two star town. I've the green light, I've got a little fight gonna turn this thing around
- There's a road outside Columbus, Ohio seems like I've drove along for years. This Midwest way of easing surrounds us I can't deny the rhythm here

Good luck with your test, sounds like you'll do fine. Ugh, starting at 5am is really tough. I knew that was why you missed the party
I'm reading around nothing like the best critics about "The Dark Knight". I'm not hyped about it, don't plan on watching it since I haven't watched any of the previous Batman movies; they aren't just appealing to me.
Meh, I dunno any of those lyrics. I'm terrible at music.
Huge hugs
I used to do 5am starts and love it, now i can't get up before 9am without a struggle
I love Torchwood, i didn't get into it until late, but its worth watching.
If the Dark Night is as half as good as Batman Begins i want to see it
At least me and you have more in common than you and BM. So hon if you want to be my date for Wed nights party just give me a bell and don't use that fake number you used to fob off BM either
*hugs*
Good luck with the promotion, seems like you nailed that test!
Batman...ummm...I wasn't going to go see it but then I'm reading all these rave reviews about it (not in the papers, but on here, from real people) and I'm thinking maybe I'll check it out this weekend.
You missed a great party on Wednesday! If you read all the posts, you already know that BM missed you like crazy. We almost had a cat fight between her and Kiwi! You gotta do something about those girls Matt!
I know only one of the songs, no 5. I'll pm you my answer cuz I'm not sure if I'm allowed to wrtie it here.
Nice to hear from you again, hope you'll blog again soon!
Oh my, Wednesday...
But you clearly missed a whole lot of fun, let me tell you. I don't misbehave every night, you know...
Hm, The Dark Knight - seen it yesterday. Although Heath Ledger clearly was fantastic in his last role, I think the movie as such has been hyped way too much. It's not as Oscar-worthy as it is made out to be, IMO...
Good luck with the promotion, you deserve it...
Eeeeeeeeee, you bought Torchwood! You're so not going to regret it, believe me. Buy season 2 when you get the chance, even better than the first one...
And you haven't had a cell phone?
Lyrics: (written in white, highlight to read)
1. Sunday Mornin' Coming Down by Johnny Cash
2. Papa Loved Mama by Garth Brooks
3. Why Georgia by John Mayer
4. Barenaked Ladies by Brian Wilson
5. Grace Kelly by Mika
6. Read my Mind by The Killers
7. Road Outside Columbus by O.A.R
Would you believe me when I promised I hadn't googled all those?
*hugs*
*huggles*
JJ: yeah things might not have gone that well for me if I would would have been at the party! Actually, I think that there was only a couple dozen people out there without cell phones!
BM: Yeah I 'm just going to ignore the semi-delusional part of your comment!
Chan: Batman was way better than I expected and it was the story and acting that made me like it so much! As far as the two of them go, I don't have any sort of control over them I am just usually happy if they don't maul me like two lions going after a three legged gazelle!
Stacey: Actually I have been wanting to post a blog for the week or so but just never really got around to doing it!
jordinajamaica
93%? Good work Matty!
You just bought your first cell phone??
LAst Wednesday party was a blast! But as Kait said it was probably safer from you to not appear!
HUGE HUGS!! Take care!
