Work has just been really well... sh!ty the last week and a half and I just have to hope that blogging about it will help get it out of my system somehow! The last three days have been especially horrific for me, mainly because on all three days have been just crazy busy giving me barely any time to get orders out (I work at a restaurant) much less get any of the other things that I need to get done, well done. Also I finished what the topic of my last blog was about so I have no desire to look at that blog anymore!

On Thursday, someone decided not to show up which sucks normally but since it was a truck day and I had to put that away instead of working in the kitchen like I normally would, it makes things worse. Add to it the fact that the manager in charge just got promoted and was freaking out a little, you have all the ingredients for another fun day of work for me! So I had to calm her down and telling her that everything would be fine and the two of us could handle it OK until the next people came in! What else am I supposed to do or say, besides its not like we could have closed down the place and go home or something. Well everything we needed to do got done but it was still a crazy morning at work! I didn't think that it could get any worse, but I was wrong though sadly.

Yesterday started off the wrong foot and sadly did not get that much better as the day went on. The opening manager was 15 minutes late which meant that everyone had to rush around to get things ready to go for customers which isn't normally a big deal but Friday was the exception to that rule. So as I am trying to get my stuff around, we started getting some customers and then we kept getting more and more of them, I mean who is going to be fraking up at 5:30 am when the store opens any way seriously. I was struggling to keep up with orders much less get any of the other stuff that I needed to get done because of course I was stuck by myself most of the time until about 9:30 or so. My main boss came back to help me but all she kept making comments about how I was not keeping up which were just uncalled for, especially since she cannot do it any faster than I can (that's what all of my coworkers say anyways)! It stayed busy all morning through lunch, since it was so busy, I ended up not getting a break... again which meant that by the time it was quitting time for me I felt like one of the zombies in the Resident Evil games! Apparently, it did not get any better as the day went a long becuase that's what the night manager said when I happened to run into her on the way to work this morning.

Oh if you thought things could not get worse well then you are dead wrong because today sucked just as bad as the other two days! Now every Saturday morning we gat a real bad breakfast rush about 8:30 am or so unless the weather is really bad or it's a holiday or something like that. So you would think that my boss would maybe schedule so people to come in at like 8 or so that way we could be prepared for it, you know maybe that might be a good idea. Apparently my boss doesn't see it that way because she has only two more people coming in a like 9:30 or so, like that is really going to be enough so that people aren't going to go crazy trying to get orders out! I did not get a break again today, so I was not in a real good mood until I got off work and got something to eat! Thankfully, I do not have to work tommorow so I get one day away from the her!

My main problem with this job is the fact that it seems that with my boss , the crappy of a worker the more she seems to like you and the more you can slide on with her. On the flip side of that, it seems that if you work hard she seems to expect you to literally move mountains by yourself and if you for some reason don't then she will get all snarky to you about it! Personally, I am tired of having to work my @ss off just have her complain about something minor, her BS is getting a little old. If she keeps up the way she has been for last few weeks than she is going to have to deal with the possibility of having some people walk out in the middle of the shifts or just quit altogether! I know that I have been coming right up to the edge of just walking out on a shift because there is only so much a man can take.! Sadly until I can find something different, my balls are kind of in the proverbial vice as I need to work in order to pay my bills like my rent for instance!
