That tonight's gonna to be a good night. That tonight's gonna to be a good, good night.

Hello! How is everyone? I'm well; I'm still winning in the game called life. LOL Today's nice and sunny. It's a bit chilly, but it's still nice. My buddy, Aaron disagreed with me when I said that it's nice out today.
Aaron: That is a bold-faced lie. It is ungodly cold today.
Me: Is it end-of-the-world freezing?
Aaron: Yeah.
Me: Will people die?
Aaron: Yeah.
Me: Will ducks freeze in mid-air?
Aaron: Yeah.
Me: Will horses eat each other?
Aaron: Yeah.
Me: Do you feel like you're going to see a mountie soon?
Aaron: Yeah.
Me: Dude, you grew up in Canada. Grow some balls and face the cold.

The past week was good. I had a basketball game last Wednesday and I scored a career high of 49 points. Yay! My dad wasn't able to make it to the game because he had a business dinner with a client. My mom was there to represent for the both of them, so it was all good. I miss my mom so much! I don't see her everyday anymore; I only see her on the weekends or when she comes to my basketball games. Now everytime I see her, I give her a big bear hug. I'm, like, regressing to the time when I was a boy and I wanted to be around my mom all the time. It's so unbecoming. Laura thinks it's sweet. I'm like, "No." LOL

I don't miss my dad as much as I miss my mom, which is good. I see him more often since I work with him. Yeah, not "for" him; "with" him. That's what my dad tells everyone. They don't work for him, they work with him. He has a way of making people feel good about themselves. For example, he wouldn't "fire" people, he would just "dehire" them. I hope he doesn't "dehire" me for not doing my job. LOL I was supposed to collect "unneeded materials" from other offices last Friday, but all I did was hang out in his office and watch TV. I even used his computer to check my e-mails and update my status on Facebook. My dad didn't mind; he even commented on the status update I posted on Facebook. LOL

After last Friday, I won't be a "collector of unneeded materials" anymore. It's not because my dad dehired me. Working on Friday afternoons conflicts with my schedule. I still work on Thursday mornings, though. I'm still going to park cars for lazyabled lawyers. I'll probably end up lazyabled in the future, too, but one thing I will not do is drive a convertible. LOL First, it's not practical in Canadian winter. Second, I don't need to compensate for anything; my ding is "dong" enough. Get it? And third, I don't fit in covertibles. LOL I had the hardest time getting in and out of a Z4. That car is made for people who are not tall. Seriously, everyone and their mothers should know that bit of information.

Anyway, last Friday night, I drove to Kingston with my buddies, Shayne, Rob, and Josh. We went to see our other buddy, Mike, and to watch a football game. My university played against Mike's university. It was a win-win for me because I support my university and I also support Mike, who's in the football team of his university. So, it was a Yay! for everyone involved ...except the football team of my university because they lost by a single point. It was a very good game, though. So, it's still Yay! for everyone. LOL

My friends and I stayed at Mike and Ali's apartment. Ali (Mike's girlfriend) said that it wouldn't be fair if only one of us stayed in the second bedroom, so she made us all stay in the living room. Shayne, Rob, Josh, and I had the hardest time going to sleep that night. We didn't want to have anything drawn on our faces, so we all stayed up together. LOL We fell asleep when we were too tired to care if we woke up in the morning with inappropriate drawings on our faces.

It was a good night, though. We got some bonding moments in there. We were being too loud at one point. Mike came out of their bedroom and we thought he was going to give us some "time-out" , but then he went, "Can I join?" LOL We had to be quieter after that because Ali was already asleep, so we just watched a movie. We watched The Timetraveler's Wife...because we're a bunch of little girls. I think we grew some ovaries after that movie. Kidding! We weren't really paying much attention to the movie because we had pretzels for snacks, which made us do our own versions of Kramer's "These pretzels are making me thirsty!" We did, however, pay attention to the movie everytime Rachel McAdams was in the scene. We paused the movie and just stared at her. Every time we paused, we all went, "Awww." Good times!

Near the end of the movie, I found myself rooting for a happy ending. Because I'm a manly man like that and I believe in all that is good. Not in Balloon Boys who make me genuinely concerned, just to have my emotional investment thrown back to my face. That was not cool. Things like this Balloon Boy hoax make me lose faith in the good in people. It almost makes me want to lose faith in Santa, too. Wait, what?

Anyway, this coming week is a lot busier than the last. I have a midterm, a couple of quizzes and a bajillion reports due this week. I have a basketball game in Quebec on Friday night, so I'm leaving on Thursday night and I won't be back until Sunday. Laura has a volleyball home game next Sunday, so she won't be coming with me. My grandparents are coming over next weekend. I won't see them the first couple of days that they're here, so they're staying for a whole week.

This coming week seems unusual weather-wise. We had snow last Friday, but this week we're going back to double digit temperatures. It's my fault. I shouldn't let Laura out often. Her hotness causes global warming.

Laura and I are going out for a date tonight. Yay! I hope the global warming thing earned me major points.

Quote of the Day: "Friendship is like peeing in your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel it." So, you should all thank your friends for being the pee in your pants.

Picture of the Day: The cutest little girl, ever!

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Kyle! Whats up!?
Thats the weirdest conincidence. Someone across the world has that song in their head while me and my loser brother are singing away to it after the X-Factor lol. Maybe its not THE weirdest coincidence but its strange lol...
LOL at that conversation with you and your bud. Is Canada like extremely cold? I wonder if its colder than Ireland but Ireland isnt hugely cold even though its like known for freezingness and bad weather! I dont know what would happen if I didnt see my Mam everyday. I suppose I am a mammys boy at heart . Congrats on the game anyway!
Ohh find me on Facebook
I like the word lazyabled :L haha. I hate the whole "sleeping with mates" thing. I always happen to be the one who gets shaving foam on his face or a d!ck drawn on with pernament marker lol. I nearly even once god pink eyed thanks to that godawful movie Knocked Up which was all the rage back then!
LMAO. Grew some ovaries? You are seriously too funny Kyle! Rachel McAdams is hott Those "Awwhs" are very appropriate indeed. That is a very cheesy line for your girlfriend haha joking! I love the quote. And oddly enough I texted it to people and made a chain message out of it. I NEVER do that and I hate them but it seemed like a cool chain messgage I wonder if I;ll get a reply lol. Awh shes just so chubby and loveable lol.
You too man!

So we're in a Black Eyed Peas mood today huh? Or just looking forward to getting some after the date right? It's cold here (38F/2C)but it's gonna finally be sunny after 5 days of rain. Congrats >> 49 points is amazing. Is "collector of unneeded materials" a nice way of saying office janitor? Yes I get it. Awwww Kyle & his little buds had a "sleep-over" How cute! And a "time out." Naughty! JK! Yeah, I'd pause the movie there too.Wow you have a busy week! Dude blame Balloon Boys idiot, publicity-hound parents not a 6 year old. He doesn't even know what's going on, he's little. And did you hear the @#$%^&* language the boys older brothers use? I hope all 3 boys get taken away from them. Good luck w the major points if you know what I mean. Funny quote. They're BOTH cute.

Nice to hear you are doing so well. Lol love the quote Mounties are awesome. Congrats on the score, that's really awesome Your dad sounds awesome! Sounds like a cool boss Convertables are cool, but yeah it's too cold to use them now here too. I would probably do the same thing as your friend and complain about the cold... but then again I'm not from Canada and balls would look weird on me I didn't like the Timetraveler's Wife. Good luck on our midterm and assignments! I will have a busy week too, they suck Have fun on your date!

Hey kyle! I am new to your blog, i think your friends with a lot of the ppls I am friends with so I decided to track you I am Amanda! I will comment as often as I can! Omg lol I used to love that Black Eyed Peas song but the radio has ruined it, it is on wayyy too much. Hopefully they will stop constantly playing it so I can enjoy it again! Lol thats funny about you and Aaron. Hah yaa it makes me laugh when ppl come into Kansas and are like its freeezing today and IM like uhh not its nice here today. Im sure its even colder in canada then it is here in Kansas, but its been chilly here, but not bad yet. Wow 49 points is great! Aww thats sweet about your mom. It is sweet I agree with laura lol. I dont see my parents very often anymore either, so every time I see them Im all about hugs too hah. OO you work with your dad? Thats cool...maybe hah. Idk if I could work with one of my parents, but sounds like you 2 do okay together. Hah sounds like a fun night, did you have anything drawn on your face in the morning lol. Lol that just cracked me up a group of guys watched the Time Travelers Wife I havent seen the movie, ive read the book though and it was great. Omg I heard about the Ballon Boy hoax ughh i remember being so concerned and then it was all a big hoax, figures. I understand what your saying. Hah Wow you dod have a busy week. Helloooo Thin Man! YAY for the BEP. I like the song but the video is just lame. LOL something's wrong with Aaron, eh? Yay, nice job on the basketball game! Did you win? You could always eat dinner at your parent's house even now and then.. or move back in. You work with your dad? That's like Raj working with Sheldon. You weren't slacking off.. you were taking a strike for all the garbage picker uppers out there. What status did you put down? You can't fit into convertibles? I always thought they were the same size as any other car. Ooh, a sleepover! Did you paint each other's nails and gossip about that cute boy next door? OMG. RIGHT THERE! I told you you were a girl. But seriously, was the movie good? I want to see it! How come you went 'Awww?' Santa isn't real? So was there a happy ending? I always root for happy endings, but they normally don't happen in sad movies and therefore, I hate sad movies. You have a really busy week! Good luck with everything. Oh yay, eat some poutine for me. HAH, see? Ontario sucks with its snow. That's suuuuuuch a cute picture, although the little girl is like super fat. I only pee in my pants for you. Happy week!

Congrats on being first, Shane! Not much is up with me. I just got home from Quebec, so I'm just lounging around. What a coincidence! It's not strange, it's amazing! Goes to show how everyone in the world have a connection somehow. Canada isn't extremely cold, but it does get really cold in the winter, especially up north. Even in my area, it gets pretty cold because we're surrounded by bodies of water. Sometimes in the winter, we get wind chills of -30C and below. Pretty gnarly! LOL, every guy is a mama's boy whether they want to admit it or not. Thanks! Sorry, dude. My Facebook is private. I have a public Twitter, though. Do you have Twitter? You like the word "lazyabled"? I thought of it when I was hanging out in my dad's office doing nothing. LOL I've never gotten my face drawn with anything. When I share rooms with my friends, I'm in constant vigilance. When my buddies and I went to Las Vegas last year, those who slept early woke up with goatees and extra eyebrows. Haha, thanks, glad you think I'm funny! She is, indeed! I know, but that line actually worked. Oh, yeah? Cool! Did you get any replies with that chain message? Yeah! The little girl is like a doll. LOL

Hey, Mike! How's it going? I wasn't really in a BEP mood, I just needed a title and the song kind of fit...since I was looking forward to all the fun after the date. Awesome! It was sunny over here, too, for a couple of days, then it started raining again and it's back to being cold now. Thanks! Yes, it's a nicer way of saying sanitary engineer. LOL I have a feeling that the boy knew what was going on. He said it himself, "We did it for the show." If the boy didn't know what was going on, he wouldn't have stayed hidden. Children do not want to cause anxiety. It's why when parents separate, the initial thought of children is it's because of something they did. So, if the Balloon Boy really didn't know what was going on, he would have come out of the attic to put his parents at ease. That boy may be 6 six years old, but he certainly has an air of awareness about him. Anyway, thanks, dude! I did score some major points, if you know what I mean.

LOL, thanks, Sally! Haha! That's the only reason I write nice comments. LOL Kidding! A sex toy night? Aww, that sounds awesome! I wish my family had nights like those. My family is very conservative and prude-ish. Kidding! I lost faith in Santa when I saw my dad putting gifts under the tree...and he wasn't even wearing a Santa suit. My childhood was crushed that night. I kid, I kid. I know, it feels like the year has gone by so fast. Some of my neighbors are putting up Christmas lights now, which is weird since Halloween hasn't even come yet. No, that wasn't Laura. And, no, the girl is not my child, either. It's just a picture I found and the girl is so cute, I had to share her cuteness with the world. LOL Assignments? Isn't is summer over there now? Anyway, good luck with all of your school work! Stay frosty, as well!

Thanks, Daria! The quote's a good one, eh? LOL Thank you! My dad is a pretty cool boss. He allows office parties every last Friday of the month and he gives people 3 days off when they have their birthdays. Some convertibles are alright. They're awesome if I fit in them. Haha! Balls would look weird on girls. LOL We only watched The Timetraveler's Wife because when we were looking of movies on Pay-Per-View, we saw Rachel McAdams on the cast list. Thanks and thanks! Hope your busy week went well! Oh, and, yes, I have seen RENT live. I saw it on Broadway a few years back.

Hey, Amanda! Thanks for tracking me and commenting! Yeah, when songs get overplayed, they're not as good as they were before. LOL, it's the opposite for me when I go to Florida. Like last February, people in Florida were wearing sweaters and complaining about how it was cold. My friends and I were wearing shorts and t-shirts and feeling like it was summer. It was nice over here for a couple of days last week, but now it's back to being cloudy and cold. Thank you! Well, techinically, I don't work WITH my dad, I work FOR him. His office is in the top floor, while I work in the underground paking lot. Saying that I work WITH him makes me feel better, though. LOL I didn't have anything drawn on my face the next day, which I was very happy about. LOL I haven't read the book. I was planning on reading it before seeing the movie, but I don't think I'll read it now. It's like the movie Cruel Intentions for me. I read the book it was based on and it was good, but the movie has Sarah Michelle Gellar, so the movie wins. And The Timetreveler's Wife has Rachel McAdams, so the movie wins there, too. LOL Thanks! Glad to read you survived your midterms week. I have a midterm each week for the next three weeks, but it's all good. At least they're not all together. Thank you, my team won our game and Laura's team did, as well. Thanks and thanks!
Posted Oct 24, 2009 8:51 pm PT
Heloo, Ivy! Did you come up with a nickname? I haven't seen the video yet. I don't plan to, either. LOL Aaron forgot how Canada is all aboot coldness and more coldness. Thanks! Yes, we won, 96-61. Yeah, I could move back in. It's been a month and a half since I moved out; I've experienced enough outside world. Kidding! LOL, my dad and I don't have Eye of the Tiger playing in the background when we see each other at work, though. Haha, that's nice way of putting it, but...nah, I was just slacking off. I put "is wasting time instead of collecting waste." My dad's comment was "Boo! Get a real job." And then he wrote "There's a Wii in the conference room. Go occupy space there." Some convertibles are really small; they don't have enough space to push the driver's seat back for some leg room. Oh, we gossiped like no other, but not about the "cute boy next door." Rachel McAdams is in the movie, so it's awesome. LOL No, I can't say if the movie is good, because I honestly did not pay attention. I only got into it near the end because someone got shot and everyone was crying and then there was this running sequence and I didn't know if she was going to make it in time, so I was like, "Go, go, go!" We went, "Awww," because, hello, it's Regina George. LOL Yeah, Santa isn't real...and you're adopted, too. Well, there was sort of a happy ending. I won't spoil the movie for you. Go watch it! LOL Thanks! I didn't eat poutine. That's like carbs on top of carbs. I'm trying to maintain my figure, you know. Kidding! Ha! Ontario is very Canadian with its snow, therefore, it's awesome! Wow, what a backhanded compliment. LOL That's the kind of comment that makes little girls want to be super skinny as they're growing up, you know. LOL, thanks! Thanks, again!
Posted Oct 24, 2009 8:53 pm PT
Wow office parties every month and 3 days off for your birthdays I've never even heard of such an awesome boss How tall exactly are you if you can't fit in them? Thanks. Hope your busy week went well too Ok now I'm jelaus, I would kill to see Rent live. Even without NPH
Posted Oct 25, 2009 2:41 am PT
That chain message was returned to me 36 times and I only sent it to 14 people :O
Everyone told me it was so cool in school the next day lol!
Posted Oct 25, 2009 5:42 pm PT
I said in a different blog that it should be Princess Consuela but I want to be named Crap Bag instead. It's classier. Good, the video is going to ruin the song for you. Oh, congrats! LOL the Eye of the Tiger thing was awesome. What did you gossip about instead? The hot dad next door? Someone got shot? Oh no! What does "sort of" a happy ending mean? I know, I know. You're trying to maintain your anorexic figure. Yeah but you have to admit that she's like overly chubby!!!
Posted Oct 25, 2009 7:43 pm PT
Yeah, Daria, my boss (dad) is pretty awesome. It's especially great to be at work today because it's the last Friday of the month, and tomorrow's Halloween. Dressing up is encouraged by my dad. He dressed up as a chef at work today, complete with the chef hat and the spatula. I'm 6'6" tall, so small cars are not for me. LOL RENT's run on Broadway ended last year, but I believe there's a national tour going on right now. The production's coming to Wisconsin next week. Here's their schedule: http://www.siteforrent.com/tourschedule
Posted Oct 30, 2009 2:49 pm PT
Nice, Shane, a lot of people love you! LOL
Posted Oct 30, 2009 2:49 pm PT
LOL, Crap Bag. I'll call you CB because I don't want other people to read it and think I'm being mean to you. Haha, no, not about the hot dad next door, either. We "gossiped" about things you don't want to know. There's "sort of" a happy ending because someone gets shot and someone dies, but because of the time travelling thing that someone gets to meet someone else one last time before the movie ends.
Posted Oct 30, 2009 2:50 pm PT
But that's not my name! It's Crap Bag. And you are mean.. people just need to realize it. Kidding. That doesn't sound like a happy ending at all!
