Hey, peeps! Long time no read, how's it hanging? I'm back in Collingwood after being away for a week. I went to Michigan, home, and Utah last week. And over the week, I've acquired things for those "gift wanting" people. *whispers* "Ivy and Sally"
This blog is going to go day by day, so you can just skip a day if you don't like it…even though you can't really skip a day; time doesn't work that way. Ooh! I rhymed. LOL
Last, last weekend, my friends, with one addition, came over here. Some good news: my friends, Brooke and Rob, are back together! Yay! They also told us the real reason why they broke up. The reason is very juicy; it's like a soap opera. LOL Anyway, they're good now and I'm glad.
On Saturday, we did some BBQ for lunch. Well, the girls did; us guys made the salad. I know, exciting stuff.
We played Frisbee and soccer after. The most exciting part of the day was when it rained tears of Kyle. LOL Kidding. My buddy, Josh, was going to kick the ball, which was in the air, while I jumped and intercepted it. I kicked the ball away from his range, so he didn't get to kick it. But there are these things called momentum and inertia. He couldn't stop himself from kicking and I couldn't stop myself from going where I was going right away. Stupid Physics. LOL Here, let me draw you a picture of what happened.
http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/8898/11da9.png
So, Josh didn't get to kick the soccer ball; he ended up kicking one of mine instead. It hurt. It hurt A LOT. See how red my face was?
I ended up in that last position and stayed that way for about an hour. It was okay, though; I could walk properly again after another hour. Plus, I got some bonding time with the ground. The ground is a good listener; it didn't say anything, even though I mumbled a lot of obscene words to it.
Josh went and bought me ice cream to make me feel better. It did make me feel better; I still made him buy me a Double Chocolate Pudding Cake, though. My dinner was ice cream and cake; it was awesome! Diabetes, here I come. LOL
After church on Sunday, we got my boat out and I got my dad to let us use his boat, too. We did some water skiing and wakeboarding and we also went to Old Creek. The nude people from last time were there again. We stayed, though, because we had the numbers. Last time I was there, I left because there was only me…there were three of them…we were in an isolated area…and they didn't have clothes...so, I ran away.
Plus, they were all guys. If there was a girl, I would have still left.
[Love you, sweetheart! – K-Bear.] After all the lake fun, we just stayed in the cottage for the night. We watched "Casper" on TV. Did you know that Casper only had four fingers? I never realized that. ![]()
On Monday, my friends and I went our separate ways again. I drove to Toronto and left my dogs and my car with my sister, then, I flew (by plane
) to Detroit. I stayed there until Wednesday. I stayed in Detroit, even though my friends are in East Lansing (they'll be attending Michigan State University in the fall). See, I don't come to them; they come to me. LOL Kidding! Detroit has better malls, so I stayed there.
Anyway, while I was there, I met up with my friends and my friends' new friends, took a tour of MSU, shopped, and bought some illegal substances from shady looking guys.
Kidding on the last part.
On Tuesday, I went to five different malls…only because I wanted to go to specific stores, though.
That night, my friends and I watched a movie. My buddy, Stan, has a cousin nicknamed Fox and he wanted to see "Wanted" because Angelina Jolie's character in the movie is called 'Fox.' Fox was cool, though, so it was okay. Oh, and Stan's cousin was cool, too.
If you haven't seen "Wanted," then, you haven't seen it. What am I going to do about it? LOL It has a lot of action and a bit of drama, and comedic relief. There's a delicious twist near the end [think Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker]. Plus, there's a split second butt shot of Angelina Jolie's butt. I didn't see that, though. I blinked at the right moment. LOL So, if you haven't seen it, put it on your "Maybe I'll See It" category; it's a good one. 3.5 stars out of 5. ![]()
For Sally [No, this is not a pun for "For Sale." LOL]
On Wednesday, it was scorching. It was around 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit; the normal body temperature). It was too hot to move, so I stayed in my hotel room and ate ice cream.
While I was sitting there, eating Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey, an idea hit me like a bag of ice. And, no, it wasn't just brain freeze. LOL An idea of what to make for Sally hit me. I read that monkeys are strong willed, energetic, smart, loyal, and passionate. They also have an extraordinary originality and personality. That sounds like Sally to me.
I'm not saying you're a monkey, Sally, so don't go all ape on me.
I'm saying you're awesome! So, I made this for you.
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/3494/frontbh6.jpg
http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5272/backxy2.jpg
It's a monkey head!
It only has one ear; it gives it character that way. Also, it's because I kind of lost the other ear on the plane ride home and I couldn't be bothered to make another one. LOL It's only a head because the body went out to party. The head is more conservative, but it does know how to have fun. Look, it has Mardi Gras beads! ![]()
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/2023/withbeadses7.jpg
On Thursday, I went home because my dad had a business function that night. I went to give him familial support.
During the day, I cleaned the house; I vacuumed every floor and did some dusting. I talked to my mom over the phone that day and I think she cried a bit when I told her that I cleaned. LOL Before I did my cleaning, I went to see our family doctor to see if long-term effects have sprung from my soccer injury. Hehe, sprung.
Everything's fine; Baby Plaxico will still be. LOL
On Friday, I flew to Utah to see Laura and meet her relatives…and to make sure everything IS fine.
I'm kidding. I didn't let Laura's intentions of compromising my virtue take form.
We were in her uncle's house; if I wanted to get my heads cut off, I would go directly to her dad. And, yes, I meant 'heads.' LOL No, Laura's dad is cool, and so is her uncle. Her uncle actually knows my uncle from Udaho (still not me
) through a friend of a friend of a friend; they've played golf a few times before. What a small world, eh? Laura has cousins that are 19, 17, 13, and twin 5 year-olds. All of them are girls, except Brien, who is 13 years old. Sarah, Laura's little sister, is there, too. She seems different, like she's older somehow. What's weirder is that she didn't call me Jason at least once this weekend. She was extra nice to me; it was very disconcerting. ![]()
On Saturday morning, the two adults went out and the teens stayed in the house. The twins invited me to a tea party. I've never been invited to a tea party before; it was like a dream come true.
Kidding! I've been to tea parties before, but only because the girls told me that there were going to be real food. LOL Anyway, the tea part was very nice; it was very cordial. I actually wore a tie and even spoke with a British accent.
We watched "Batman Begins" after lunch as a prelude to "Dark Knight" that night. And, then, I found out why Sarah was being so nice to me. The movie is A14 and she's 11, so Laura wouldn't let her come to the movie. So, she turned to me. I didn't know what to do when she asked me if she could come with us. I was like, "Uh…okay?" LOL Then, Laura found out that I told Sarah that she could come and I was like, "Uh…I'll buy you something pretty?" ![]()
"Dark Knight." Heath Ledger. One word. Brilliant. I wanted to see Dark Knight because I'm a Batman fan, but I specifically wanted to see this movie because of Heath Ledger. From his voice to his laugh to his body movement, Heath's portrayal of The Joker is amazing. His face was masked by make-up that only had one expression, which was a smile, but it doesn't take away from his dark character because you can look at his eyes and see everything there. He stole every scene he was in. Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart held their own, but Heath's presence overshadowed them. If you're a Batman fan, you're going to like this; there are a lot of cool new gadgets and there's a lot of action and a bit of light scenes. If you're a Heath Ledger fan, you're going to love this because it really showcases his talent as an actor and his ability to create a whole new Joker from the one Jack Nicholson created. Either way, you're going to like this movie because it's not all explosives. It has psychological undertones that tackles how one would react if faced with overwhelming evil. Would one stick to the moral code or would one break the rules? It deals with the idea of living in the moment, of leaving everything to chance and doing things as you go along. It talks about human nature, of how people, when backed to a corner, would start biting everything. Like The Joker said, "Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push." The Joker wanted to show people that in every good person, there is bad inside. He wanted to open people's eyes. It's almost as if he WAS the Dark Knight, bringer of truth. It's an awesome movie. And remember that it is a movie. Impossible is nothing in movies. 5 stars out of 5.
If you haven't seen it, go see it. Run; don't walk, to the nearest theater! Go see it now! Actually, don't see it now. Finish my blog first. ![]()
If you're reading this, say, "Hi!" If you really said, "Hi!" out loud, give yourself a round of applause. LOL
Anyway, on Sunday, we went to church and we had brunch out. Then, we spent the day at the park. I gave the twins piggyback rides and we had a water gun fight. We had a big dinner at their home, then, us teens watched "10 Things I Hate About You." After the movie, I had to leave to catch my flight. Laura and her uncle drove me to the airport. Laura's aunt made me a sandwich for the wait at the airport. She's so nice! It was a really good weekend. It was a very nice week, actually. ![]()
I arrived at Toronto at the wee hours of the morning today. I went to my sister's apartment to pick up my dogs and my car. I had breakfast with them before I left, though. Will, my sister's fiancé, is a very good cook.
Then, I drove back to Collingwood and here I am. I was playing basketball at the Community Center with some guys and this other guy came to me and offered me a job as a Sports Day Camp Councilor, teaching little kids football, soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, hockey, and golf. This guy is going to pay me for doing things that I like to do; it doesn't sound like work to me, so I accepted his offer. Starting next week, I'm going to be teaching kids Monday to Wednesday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
I have a job. Yay! I think my mom cried a bit again when I told her this afternoon. LOL
If you read all that you deserve a standing ovation. Go ahead and give yourself one.
Have a good night!
Kyle – OUT!
Oh, and this yours Ivy. It's very detailed. ![]()

It's flip-flops because it's summer…and because it's the only green, non-suggestive item I could find in the store. LOL

Look, the undersides of the straps are polka dots. ![]()

This is one of the undersides. Each is an eagle.

And here is your AE All-Access Pass. It's green! The old ones used to be blue. The girl at the counter wouldn't give me a new one because I still had my blue one, but I persuaded her to give me one.
http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/7365/allaccesscardtl1.jpg
Hey! I'm bored; how are you?
I've been doing some lawn work lately. When I got here last Tuesday, the grass was so tall and there were so many weeds. Those little weed devils thought that they could horde my backyard. Not likely. I uprooted each one of them and mowed the grass after. It took me 7 hours to do all that. I should get a star or something.
I got so into it that I didn't realize that I was mowing the grass on the other side of the tree line. It's okay, though; my neighbors won't be here until next week. They won't know that 1/8 of their lawn is not like the rest. LOL
So, I'm a bit tired today. I slept through the alarm this morning. It's a good thing it wasn't a big fire.
Kidding! My dad faxed me my report card today. You want to know what my marks are? I'll tell you anyway. LOL I got 97% in Math, 96% in Calculus and Technical Design, and 95% in Chemistry. So, my average in Grade 12 is 94%. My marks from the first semester were 92% in English and World History and 90% in Physics.
You know, I had a dream last year where my English, History, and Physics teachers wanted to punch me in the throat for slacking so much. I figured it was a warning or something, but I didn't do anything about it; I still slacked. ![]()
This weekend, some of my friends (Mike, Ali, Shayne, Michelle, Dills, Courtney, Josh, Rob, Andrea, and Fez) are coming over. I don't know what we're doing, yet. But Shayne is bringing his wakeboard. For what, I don't know. My boat isn't out yet, so wakeboarding might not be an option. I think he just wants to sleep beside his wakeboard.
Kidding. We might go ATV-ing or mountain biking somewhere. So, if I don't come back on Monday, it means we got lost. LOL It could also mean I'm in Detroit. But who knows? Maybe we'll just get lost. It's most likely that we'll get lost. ![]()
Anyway, I've been looking at old photos today. I've been taking a trip down memory lane…and seeing very unattractive shots. LOL So, how about we play a game where you can guess what's all the happening in the pics.
(Side note: I did not like The Happening. Maybe it was because the guy behind me kept laughing, even though there was nothing funny in the movie, and I was annoyed or maybe the movie was just not up to par. Possibly both. LOL) The answers will be under the Answers header. You'll have to highlight them to see. And let's begin:

Answers:
1) No, I wasn't. I could never sleep with my head upright.
2) Greece. It was during our school trip when in was in Grade 11. I pretended to be the tomb guard. ![]()
3) I was explaining the mechanism of a bus to Laura who was beside me (left side of the picture). What? We were on a field trip. I was trying to educate. Sue me for trying to spread the knowledge around. ![]()
4) The middle one. We were shoveling the snow in one area just so we could snowboard. Dang global warming. Dang it to heck! LOL
5) Grade 9. It was a swim meet, so I was wearing a bodysuit…mainly because I didn't want to shave my legs. So, no, my legs aren't naturally silver and blue.
You know what I just realized? My feet weren't on the ground on this photo. Whoa! LOL
6) Yes, I did buy this shirt. And, then, I burned it, so that nobody else would have to suffer from it. LOL No, I still have it. I just don't know where it is. ![]()
7) Trick question – the game hasn't started yet when this photo was taken. We did win the game, though. ![]()
Trick question – I'm not even on this photo. LOL I'm kidding! I was the one on the third row, second from the left. ![]()
9) No, that's my buddy, Stephen. He just likes to wear things that have terms associated with authority for fun. LOL
10) Definitely creepy.
My English teacher gave us a free period, so my buddies and I roamed the halls, wearing masks and doing inappropriate things. Why did I pose with a garbage can, you ask? I do not know. I'm sorry; I don't have all the answers to life. LOL
11) I was actually taking a power nap on this one. Conrad was just talking to himself; he likes to do that. LOL Kidding. I don't think he realized that I wasn't there with him anymore. ![]()
12) A peach mango smoothie. I was in Greece in this photo…I think. I can never know where I am in profile shots. LOL But I do know that it's a peach mango smoothie because I don't drink other smoothies, besides peach mango.
13) All of them. This is a painting of one of my friends, Heather; it's one of her art projects. It's pretty cool with all the different depths and everything. ![]()
How many did you get right? ![]()
Other photos. Here is the lake. This is a shot from my backyard:
http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/1802/lakevl1.jpg
And there's the stairs. I was inspired by the angle. LOL
http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/6792/stairsjm6.jpg
I was looking for Old Creek, the place where we used to Tarzan off the cliff when we were kids. And, yes, I just made "Tarzan" a verb.
I thought I was lost for sometime because this is definitely not it. I just took a picture for no reason. LOL
http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/2023/lake2ny3.jpg
But I found Old Creek eventually. There were some people there, too. I didn't stick around, though; they looked kind of naked. ![]()

You know what made me giggle and look really creepy in the store last night? I'm so immature. ![]()

Have a good weekend!Kyle – OUT!
Well, for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place
It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
'Cause you're my special thing
I'm flying without wings
And you're the place my life begins
And you'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy you bring
I'm flying without wings
Let me tell you, flying without wings? Not fun; it's very painful, especially when you land headfirst.
So, I was doing some reconnaissance (AKA snooping) in my sister's bedroom yesterday and I found a Westlife CD. They're an Irish boy band; they never made it big in North America because they were overshadowed, which is a shame because they can actually sing. They don't distract people with their dance moves. *cough* N'Sync *cough*
They have two main singers (Shane and Mark) and three other singers (Kian, Nicky, and Bryan). [Like oh, my gosh! I know their names!
] Apparently, Bryan left the group, so now there's only four of them. They have families now, but they're still making music. They don't turn their backs to their fans. You hear that, Kevin Richardson from Backstreet Boys? That's the sound of my contempt.
Kidding; families should come first. Which reminds me of my contempt about not being on a road trip right now. Dang! LOL Kidding.
I was listening to one of their songs, "Flying Without Wings," and it reminded me of a certain someone. His name is Mike. LOL I'm kidding! No, it reminded me of Laura. So, I called her and we talked all night using web cams, except for a brief period of time where she had to tuck her little cousins in. You know what I almost forgot? How good she looks with darker hair; she dyed it yesterday. It's darker blonde with blonde highlights. I swear my heart skipped a beat when I saw her last night. She looks really good.
We were up until 3 AM, talking about our days. Laura's very animated when she talks; she does these impressions that she thinks are different, even though they're all the same.
Sometimes she would go off on tangents and make silly, but hilarious, comments. It's like she's giving a commentary on what she's talking about. And I like how she does that; actually, I just like listening to her, period. The sound of her voice is very comforting to me.
Plus, listening to her is the only time when I can get a rest from talking myself. LOL I'm kidding. That's what I did Wednesday night. What did you guys do? ![]()
Anyway, let's go to pictures. LOL I have pictures from the last day of school. I had my camera with me, but I gave it Laura when the exams started because I didn't have a purse that day.
Kidding. I finished early and took some photos while waiting for my friends to finish. I only have one that's actually "good". All the other pictures were taken with my phone and it has the worst resolution ever.
This is our Vice-Principal. I asked him to pose like that because it's reminiscent of the first time I ever saw him. He was pointing to his watch and telling people that they were late. I thought that he was the biggest stickler ever and that he wasn't hugged when he was a child, but I was wrong. He's actually a cool guy. ![]()
http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/6886/mrs1au4.jpg
This is one of the legendary sets of stairs of the school. Everyone has fallen at least once on them. I admit, I have. But only because this loser, I won't name him, but he's known as Shayne, decided to hold onto one of my shoes. I almost hit my head on the railings and he felt so bad about it; he was all, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." ![]()

This is the Hall of Fame (and vending machines). I helped bring some trophies on those display cases. ![]()

This is the football field and the track. You can't see the lines on the football field because they're not there. LOL The grass was cut recently when I took this.
http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/5884/foobafieldandtrack2qh4.jpg
These are the tennis courts. They have so many cracks. I should bring that to the PTA's attention. Then, again, I'm not in school anymore. Sucks for them. LOL Kidding.

This is my buddy's, Pirdad's, mural of the Mona Lisa; it's his final art project. We thought he couldn't do it, but we stand corrected. ![]()

This is one of the murals that I really like; it is done so well and I like the quote. It says, "Equipped with his senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science. – Edwin Powell Hubble"
http://img61.imageshack.us/img61/1120/favemuraltt8.jpg
I have a similar mural in my room, actually. And there's a quote on the bottom, too. It says, "Homer-Homoneanderthalus" "Mmmm…Business Deal – Mmmm…Crumbled-up Cookie Things Fresh Mmmm…Urinal Fresh – Mmmm…Purple Mmmm…Unprocessed Fish Sticks – Mmmm…Hors Do-Vers." ![]()
http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/2116/homerbn1.jpg

This is the locker lock I used all through high school. I could have had a collection of four locks, but, no, I didn't want to buy a new one every year. So, now, I stew in the sea of my own sentimental value. I'm so bitter.
Kidding.
http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/5673/lockna7.jpg
And just to throw it out there, these are the beads I got from Vegas. Whoo! LOL

That's all. Thanks for dropping by. Have a good night of morning! ![]()
