That Friggin' Xbox 360 got three red rings for the 4th time over the weekend. And those @!*^%($# !!!!! over at Microsoft won't fix it again without me paying them. WTF I payed $100 the first time to get it fixed (only 4 month after I got it on launch day) I was pissed then.

Then it broke a second and third time, called up got them to fix it for free. They also said I would be getting a refund of my first $100... never got that.

They told me because it has been over 2 years since I got it I have to pay to fix it this time. I hung up on the guy after that. I'm really mad right right now... really mad. I'm going to give it another shot tomorrow and see if I don't get another total idiot

/end rant

I always said I only like to pay for a game once, But a console sure never crossed my mind! Hopefully you can get the right guy on the other end next time. Usually how someone I know gets around problems. Just try to get lucky with someone that's understanding.

I thought it was a three year warrenty for red ring. My first one broke, MS sent a new one, that one broke with different problems and I had to buy an arcade. I know people that have had more than five or six 360 break on them.

...why are you so mad? You got it at launch, which means the 3 year warranty was up in 2008. Microsoft asking you to pay for the repair is fair game now. Plus, don't be so hostile towards the guy on the other end just because he was doing his job. Calling him an "idiot" won't get your 360 fixed any sooner, nor will it give back your warranty.

that sucks dude... but if your warranty is expired then you're SOL.

If the same 360 keeps breaking you may even want to consider just buying a new one... 'cause it'd be better than constantly dealing with a failing system that you have to pay to get fixed now... (unless you manage to get it repaired for free).

@ SaintBlaze
Dude you were not on the phone with him he keep repeating the same questions over and over again, he wasn't listening to me. It was like he was reading it from a piece of paper and he never left script when my answer should have changed his next question

Ah I see now. My bad then. You should have been a bit more specific in your blog though.

Thats unlucky man, I've only had RROD once and that was over a year after I bought my 360. Just bad luck I suppose, sorry for you shockwave

You know as they say 'If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all"

Lame. I may actually get a PS3 Slim before I get a 360. Halo3 and only a few other games I like are exclusive and I will definitely want God of War 3. Good luck.
