To my fellow union members,
I will be out of town on 9/21 - 25/09 for work. Gotta go to Nashville TN for the week. Won't have access to the boards so I will see everyone when I get back. Don't have too much fun while I'm away.
Yep, it came to day and that's why I haven't been on the boards. Had to start to play it. Well the following are my first impressions of about the first 3 hours I have been playing. The Opening CGI for the game is totally AWESOME. They really used IMO the PSP's ability to play "movies". The game is not what I thought it would be... it's better. The battle system is nothing that I have ever seen. It takes a good 45 minutes just to get through the Prologue. I don't want to give away too much here, because 1) I just really started it and 2) there ares ome things that I am having issues with trying to master. Those of you who text all the time might be fine, I however do not text and am having certain this - hit this button now - problems. I tend to get swept up in the battle and lose focus of what crazy button I need to be hitting.
So far I am playing as Tidus, yep he's here. There are also the other characters we all love from the most beloved of series. This so far has been an interesting take on this series. People used to gripe about the Sphere grid and License Board. This is not even an issue anymore.
Keep checking back, because I will write a review once I figure out what I am supposed to be doing. It's a totally different take, but it is nice to see the Warrior of Light and Firion and Bartz and all the rest up close with real faces and in color with voices. WoW!!! It could be that I am still excited about this game, but so far I am really getting into this game. Thank you SquareEnix. I think this is one game they actually took some time to develop before it was released. Keep in mind this is just my initial thoughts. We shall see as I start to see some Boss Battles and other little road blocks that I am sure that are out there.
I can't believe school will start on the 18th. I can hardly wait!! Okay, my son is not so thrilled, but I am. If I have to get up in the morning, so does he! After the Scout Camp ambulance ride, I can't take any more excitement. For those who don't know, what happened to him was this:
Tried for his water skiing badge. Keep in mind he has never been water skiing before so he had no clue. Almost did it, but he fell and the ski smacked him really hard in the kidneys. OUCH. They had to bring him to the Hospital from 2 1/2 hours away. All he could tell me when he got to the emergency roomall he could say was the nurse riding with him was HOT. Then I knew he was feeling better. Glad that little adventure is over and all is well.
Christmas is just around the corner. Wow another year is biting the dust. I can hardly believe it. I hope the rest of you who are still in school have a great year. Have fun, study hard, and of course game hard! Gotta have some kind of stress relief, right?
