well since im lazy i havnt done a blog in a while so things have sorta piled up...

firstly:

GTO

although i havnt finished the series yet i probably will have by tomarrow morning (currently on ep 41/43) so i desided to do my review of this great series....

last winter, back before i really got into anime, one of my friends (rustopholis) showed me the first ep of GTO thinking that i might like it... now mind you this was back when i thought series like shuffle where way to ever the top for me so when he showed me the first ep of GTO i thought "why the H*** am i watching this?"... but resently ive gotten bored so i desided heck why not give it a shot... and as i learned from kanon... just because the first episode didnt catch your attention doesnt mean the series is boring... and just like with kanon GTO Got 10x better then the first ep protrayed it... so let me say this to those who havnt seen GTO... the first ep does show what GTO is about.. its just hidden behind all the over the top sorta comedy... dont let the over the top parts deture you... the first ep is still my least fav, so ya, things get better...

the comedy of GTO was quite good... im a huge fan of sarcastic humor... but sadly that was rather few and far between... however my second favorite type of humor, situational, was all over this anime. 5 mins couldnt go by in this anime without the situation the chars are in proves humor in some way, shape, or form. overall i was quite pleased with the humor in GTO...

the basics behind the story of GTO is quite repetative... this student has a problem of some sort (with themselves, others, or life in general) and Onizuka (the great teacher himself) some how manages to help them... sound boring right... thankfully though the chars (onizuka and later on my fav char Kanzaki) provide the story with plenty of humor and depth to the story... once again... quite pleased.... even though the premise is rather repetative each "Ark" brings enough to each event to keep u interested and each char is developed enough give the series depth...

so ya overall GTO was quite enjoyable, 8.4 fav chars include Kanzaki (by far my fav... might even make it into my top 10 chars) and Kikuchi... shame there are only 43 eps ... time for the manga XD)

i just remembered that i did my mini review in my last blog so this part will be just me stating im at chap 91 of 93... sure hope this manga updates reguarly (by looking at previeus update times it seems to be so) so that i can continue to enjoy this great manga... with some of the best comedy outa all my top ten list (sarcastic humor that rivals Kyons from MHS and situational humor that rivals pastel and Clannad) and a decent enough story to keep ya interested... so many of the chars are considered "favs"... these include luccy, kumi mikuni, naomi mizuki, taiga (main char), and heck even hayao tsugawa... so ya a lot of great chars here...

Summer rewatch list:

so ya in the likly event ill get bored over the summer (currently have around 3 hours of free time a day, summer i might have a whole day off) ive desided to make a list of anime/manga that ill rewatch/reread when i get bored... these include

Anime: AMG: every time i see AMG chars i think summer, when i first watched it, so as soon as the weather gets warm enough to open the windows at night... ill start AMG again.

Lucky star: though i havnt finished it yet, now that ive seen many of the anime referenced in it during the first few episode ive desided to restart it so i can get the jokes. (when i first saw lucky star i gave it around like 7.2... now its at least an 8 somthing)

Outlaw star: loved this series when i was a kid... really got me into anime (thought DBZ was a cartoon not anime lol) and since i havnt finished it yet i really should seeing as how i loved it so much then and now

Manga: IO: after reading it last summer, getting to the end, then after having to wait like 6 months for the last chap to be finally uploaded i forgot a large portion of what happened... so ive desided to reread it... so that i can understand it a bit more lol (just good enough for a reread)

now please note this does not inclde the MANY anime/manga i need to see for the first time (true tears, ichigo 100% (once again kanon lesson makes me go back to try this one), air tv, cowboy bebop and so much more... (dam that was a long blog...)
