I'm back, my computer's back. Everything is working so much better now. All those problems I was having with loading pages here and at Zap2it are fixed. On the downside my harddrive was fried and I lost everything that was on it. I'd backed up a lot of stuff but hadn't gotten around to backing up the photos. I'm an awful clutterer and the harddrive was stuffed and full of bugs. Everything's running much smoother - especially internet - since it was it was cleared out. So its a mixed blessing. I've spend the last several days reloading stuff and putting things in order. I should be back to blogging and blopping and maybe even submitting now.
One of the things I lost was the code for making links here. I kept them on a stickie on my desktop. Also the code for making the boxie which I don't usually use but I might want to sometime. If anyone's reading this has those codes and would be willing to share them here or on a PM, I'd appreciate it.

And I see people have migrated to tvrage. Does that work better? Should I set up an account there? What a shame this site can't get it together.

Links still work... I think. There was an issue, but I think it's been resolved (they were coming and going), but... well, let's face it, the bugs that are here seem to come back. The staffies claim they're dead, but they're not. (see what you did? You got me started! hahaha... just kidding!)

The other site is not as flashy, and is having some start up issues with plagiarism (just like this site did), but it ~works~. There's no WSoD; there's no bugs; they get rid of spammers; few to no ads... and quite a few of us are over there already. (I'm Stiggy there....)

*Grr* at the thought of setting up yet another account. Setting up preferences again. Setting up favorites again. Adding friends again. Blah, blah, blah. How long could I go on about how sick I am of setting up new accounts? Didn't we just go through this when we had to re-up here when tvtome closed! My computer fills out the forms for me but I'm still sick of it. I lost all my passwords in the crash here. Well, talk about not getting someone started...
I'll check it out. I'll probably set myself up there when I recover from my own computer disaster.

I went over to Rage and sniffed around, but like you I'm not too happy about starting over with everything.
Everything works there though, and subs are proceded really fast.

Don't leave Shelbing. Some of us haven't abandoned ship. This place still feels like home. I have the boxie specs if you still want. People just use lines around them instead:

Hey Shelbing. It's nice to see you are back. I'm sorry you had so much trouble with your computer.
I use the horizontal rules to set off my boxie since the blue background is disabled. The quote function still works the same. You just have to add that code sesho gave you above and below it (without the spaces, of course).

No, I wouldn't leave here altogether. It does feel like home. I do miss people who seem to have left here. And did I not see YOU sesho, over on tvrage? I don't have the problems other people have here since I don't submit much and I don't visit the boards.

Welcome back. I'm not switching over to TVrage since some of the shows I watch are either MIA over there or haven't been updated since they went live.
Until TVRage starts getting info that's not available here (not likely), I'm sticking here or no where.
Glad to hear your PC's feeling better. Nothing like a fresh start on your PC, unless it's a whole new PC
