Sorry about the english and bla bla bla....
First let me say that I still didn't give up on my theory about Rousseau.
Ok,she's not Jacob, but the rest still fits to me.
Now looking at the picture we already saw 1000 times by now:

Whois this? Christian? Locke with a wig? I already saw
people sayin that this could be Richard Alpert's father (like, theguy
young Ben founded in the jungle wasn't a "Forever Young" Richard but
Jacob Himself). To me, this is an entity that can assume any
form it wants. I don't know why people keep treating Jacob as a person.
Ok, maybe he has a "human form" but defenetly he's not human in
the sence of the word.
Personaly, I believe that this is Jacob assuming Locke's form. But I'll
get there...
First some impressions and interpretations from what I saw in TMBTC:
- Ben, even beeing an"outsider" is the leader of the others for a very
simple reason: he's the only one who can see and hear Jacob. If you
think that the others consider Jacob a God, than Ben could be
considered Jesus or something like that. Remember how Richard Alpert
seemed interested when the young Ben told him that he saw his dead
mother in the island? Assuming that it was in fact Jacob and the others
knew that he can assume other forms but nobody can see it, Richard
may thought something like "he's the one".
- Maybe Ben always saw Locke as a threat. A threat to his power and
influence among the others. He was already losing that influence
(like the scene when Locke beats the hell of Mikahil shows - nobody
did nothing to stop that, even when Ben ordered. They were more
interested in Locke went to see Jacob). Moreover, when Ben had the
confirmation that Locke acctualy hearded Jacob he decided to get rid
of him.Bensaidithimself:LockeaskedwhyheshothimandBen answers
"Because you heard him"
- Ben seemed to be sure that Locke wouldn't be able to see or hear
Jacob. That's why that conversation between Ben and Jacob seems so
unrealistic, like as if Ben was crazy. He was making fun of Locke.
- Jacob seems more a Ben's prisioner than someone who gives the
orders. Maybe that's why Jacob said "Help me" to Locke. He needs
someone to take Ben's place. Maybe Ben is ignoring Jacob's orders
and folowing his own agenda in some (or many) aspects. If that's
the case, why a powerfull thing like that doesn't just kill Ben?
Maybe because it knows that it needs Ben to communicate with the
others. And right now, Ben is the only one Jacob has.
Assuming that what we saw in "TMBTC" was Jacob posing as Locke
(maybe the hair was because the transformation wasn't "complete") this
could mean an attempt to communicate with Locke. And we already saw
something like that before:

So, could what happened in the cabin have any relation with the"visions"
Jack had of his father and Eko of his brother? In other words, is it to crazy
to think that Jack and Eko had some kind of contact with Jacob "himself"?
If that's the case, I have no idea of how this works. Like I said before, Jacob
seemed more like a prisioner to me, so I have no idea how he got out.
Maybe he's powerfull enough to be in more than one place at
the same time. One more crazy thoght: in Eko's case it seems he was been
"judged" by "Yemmi". He fails then the black monster appeared and killed
him. One interpretation, based on this crazy sh*t I wrote could be something
like: "Jacob got upset with Eko because he wasn't the man Jacob thought
he was. Eko could see him but he was a "bad man" because he was not
sorry for his"sins". Jacob gets mad and when that happens, the black
monster appears (think something like BruceBanner/Hulk) and kills
him.
So right now, I think that Jacob is the Black Smoke Monster or at least,
controls it.
This is the simplified version of what I have in my head. More than the
english, sorry about the double space between lines. This TinyMCE sux.
More very relevant stuff yet to come...![]()
