I was writing a long theory after seeing "The Economist", but I just gave up. Turns out I didn't have any solid element to suport my stupid ideas.
Just a few points of my theory:
- Sayd and Ben are not alone;
- Locke is the Economist;
- The people Sayd is killing is a mix between Others/Oceanic/Dharma/815 Survivors (remember the people from the tale section who were kidnappe by the othersd?);
- Ben is the good guy and Locke the villain;
I know, I know... that's why I gave up. Maybe I can come up with something interesting ant that makes some sense later.

Anyway, I'm here to give a tip after seeing "Eggtown", regarding the revelation at the end: Watch again "Raised by Another" (Season 1, Episode 10).
So the end of the Strike acctualy brought bad news to 24 fans. I've been reading about it in websites, newspapers so I think it's official, but you never know. 24 returns in 2009 only. I can't say I'm upset. After S6 it was clear to me that the show needed some urgent changes and, why not, a very long break. S7 preview looks good and all. On the other hand, s6 previews looked good too... (ok, not AS good but anyway)
The way I see it, the strike ended up being a good thing for the show. Now we know the show creators/producers/writers will have TIME to develop the plot, write and revise the scripts, even make some changes on material they already shot. Let's think about it for a second: what if they decided to rush things up in order to at least shoot 4 more episodes for the first half of the season, and then write and shoot the other 12 as fast as possible to air in, say, Sptember? In my opinion it would be a disaster. Anyone want something like S6 again? Not only fans, but "24" itself deserves better.
With this 24 long break (till further notice) I'll finally have the time to rewatch the first 2 seasons, wich are my absolute favourites, without any rush. It's been years since the last time I've watched them. Maybe I rewatch days 3, 4 and 5, if I have time, who knows?
Finally, the break will be good to make me forget once and for all that day 6 ever existed.
I'll make this quick. I think the WGA strike will end sometime in the next 3
weeks or so. Before the Oscars anyway.
The reason for that, to me, is simple.The Directors Guild new deal with the
AMPTP. Basically, the DGA wanted the same things than WGA: Make more
money from dvd sales and get paid for downloads and streaming. They got it.
There is no chance in hell the writers get abetter deal than the directors.
It's no coincidence that AMPTP and WGA decided to return to the negotiations
table just after the DGA deal. Moreover, as I just readed here on tv.com, the writers
decided to withdraw their demands concearning realitie tv shows and animation.
For the first time since the beggining of the strike, I'm optimistc.
Oh, and happy 2008.
