This topic has been locked. You cannot post in it.

Yes this is what you get when you try to ask questions as to why if you are in the Uk you get to see UK tv listings...someone starts a thread then someone blocks it.

Why I dont know its a simple question.... so please someone in authority answer it instead of blocking it...

how weird...we get the Australian listings down here now which we didn't before. I think, like gamespot, they have launched region specific sites.

They might have locked it because there is already a thread active on the same topic??

Hi, sorry to pop up unexpected in your blog comments. I'm organizing a protest to get the attention of CBS (new owners of tv.com) to show our dissatisfaction with the new format AND the way they launched it (without much input from us, the people who did all the work to make tv.com and the show guides what it is). We are also unhappy with how slow they have been to change the things that bother us. Please consider taking a minute to visit my last 2 blogs and please consider supporting us. Thank you very much!

Hi Shazza62, what forum was locked? I'm having trouble finding the one you mean.

Squishyhippo is right - TV.com has now launched regional specific sites and this means that each region will therefore be given listings that are most relevant to them.

What I would like is Canada being separate from US in some ways... I know the majority of our channel have US shows, but we do our own stuff too. See I get frustrated on the opposite of you. I really wish the regional stuff was optional since I would prefer UK specifics... I get your frustration since you ask a genuine question, not just complaining.

I think an option should be given on the front page to let you set your home region. I don't hate the changes, but there are a few things that are a bit hard - i.e. the white background.

I haven't been able to stand looking at the forums since the change, let alone trying to post. I'm thinking about hiding in a corner for a while.

Squishy : I agree you should be given an option to choose what region you want to see. This new site just sucks.
Sassy: Yes I am with you...

Glen: Yes I am with you and support you, I only wish TV.com would give a comment or at least acknowledge our dislike of this new set up

Heather: If you work for tv.com in the UK please change me back to US.
The most relevent TV listings for me is for the US, I know whats on in the UK and its not much and I dont really want to be reminded of it.
I think you should be given an option, when you open up tv.com to either stay on the UK site or to switch to the US site that would make alot of people happy. It would make me very very happy.

Shazza 62, there is a link at the bottom of every UK page that will link you to the US TV.com homepage and therefore link to their listings. Please be rest assured however, that all US content is still available via the UK site, we're just adding extras and highlighting regional content more specific for our UK users.
