Katherine Heigl must thank Grey's Anatomy for making her one of the brightest stars on the tube today. I fell in love with her and the show the first time I saw the first episode. To think that her contract was almost not renewed this season. Now, not only Katie has a TV show, she had a hit movie a few months ago, and another one in the waiting. And very recently, she "knocked up" an Emmy for her portrayal of my fave character on the show. And she's getting married to the equally adorable Josh Kelley. She must be on Cloud Nine right now...

P.S. I highly recommend watching "Knocked Up". Just don't bring the kids...

On her first day on the job as co-anchor of the Today show, Katie Couric already kidded around and displayed her signature "perkiness". I think she's a perfect example of beauty and brains combined. During her stint as co-anchor she covered a lot of landmark events in history, the most memorable would probably be 9-11. And her interview with US President George Bush Sr. is also very impressive. I think the success of the Today show over the last 15 years owes a great deal to Katie Couric. I love Katie dearly, and I miss her, now that she has moved on to CBS (her evening news program is not shown on cable in where I live). No matter what, Katie will still go down in history as the first solo female news anchor and that is indeed a great feat.

Initially, I didn't like the idea of anyone ever replacing the great Katie Couric. Coming from the other side of the Pacific Ocean, I never even heard of the name Meredith Vieira until it was announced that she would be the new Today co-anchor. At first I was hesitant to check her out, being a Katie fan. But I guess Meredith, with her own intellect and charm, grew in me. I think she's doing a great job on the show, as if she just fits herself into the family. Now I just watch the first two hours of the show because of her. Keep it up, Meredith!

the moment i laid eyes on joe lando in dq. i knew that i was on cloud nine. he was so hot! and a perfect gentleman, at least based on what his character portrayed on the show. a reference at the princess diaries book would confirm that not only i find joe so irresistable! i am so jealous of dr. quinn every time they have scenes together. anyway i knew that joe did other projects and was cast in a couple of soaps before dq. i haven\'t heard from him since after the show was cancelled. bring back joe on tv!!!
