Just dropping a quick line to let you all know I'm about to head off to the airport for a flight to Colgone, Germany via London. Yes, GameSpot will be there covering the new GamesCom. Will it be just as ridiculous as Leipzig was? Well, I don't think anything can capture the unique charm of that particular former Eastern Bloc city, but I have a good feeling about Cologne. I'll be sure to update with pictures when I get there.
Keep an eye out for GamesCom coverage!

Germany is awesome, full of very friendly people (as long as you don't act like a loud obnoxious tourist). Have fun and looking forward to the coverage, hopefully we get some E3 style live feeds, my job is very boring.

i also have a good feeling on gamescom alot of companies seem like they are making big announcement and i expect Sony will make there announcement and the inevitable PS3 Slim
