Looks like I am being forced to retire from my guides.
The reason for this is that I have not been on working on my queue due to (1) being on vacation for the summer and (2) not being able to get my queue to load in a quick manner (changes to the site have really caused it to work incredibly slowly on my computer. This has been going on for several month. It is so slow that actually clearing submissions is simply too tedious for me... I don't like having to wait 10 minutes to clear 20 submissions. I really wish trusted users could also clear submissions. I preferred the co-editor systemn of TVTome for that reason. I could go on break without having to worry about such things. I don't know why such a system was never implemented here).
In any case... I suppose that now it is "open season" on several highly desirable guides. I hope who ever gets them does a good job with them. In all honesty, I never really wanted to maintain this many guides. I just liked submitting/correcting things. Unfortunately, however, submissions are the selection criteria for editorship. And I ended up with a bunch. Some of which I have not maintained at all due to a serious lack of interest. Hope they go to the more interested (or even slightly interested).
I shall be retiring from most of my guides. I will make as many people trusted users as possible as I retire. Hopefully you can maintain that status as the change happens (though I am skeptical of this occurring).
I will be retiring from all but the Alfred Hitchcock guides, the Millennium Guide, and the Outer Limits (original series). All of that content was created by me at TVTome (when I was under the impression that I held copyright over the material). I feel that I am perfectly in my rights to maintain them even now.

Looks like the IMDB has rolled out a new TV site. It will take a while to get used to it but I like it a lot.
It shows promise since it really focuses more on the information. That is the thing that made me really like the original TVTome. And is something that I feel is neglected in TV.com.
In any case, perhaps some competition is for the good.

A bug has taken away all my level and ability to access by approvals and ability to add things to the site.
That is really awesome... by "awesome" I mean lameo!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like shatterdaymorn.
shatterdaymorn must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could shatterdaymorn possibly have for not rating a single film?
