Down to business well here are at least a couple more saving graces for anime.
4. Don't be overlong: I'm one of those people that don't really like it when an anime series carries itself longer than it really should, because it suffers the longevity factor. What I mean by that is, when a series carries on a little too long it loses it's momentum it's quality sort of diminshes a little from taking way too much time in development.People want to be kept in suspense but they don't want to be kept in suspense too long they expect their patience to be paid off, and when it's delayed even further they get bored lose interest. That's what made The X-Files, Friends, and Alias suffer a little. That's what made Inuasha and Case Closed suffer, as well as the fundamental problem with those Shojin animes and mangas which I persoally find overated because they hardly have any story, chracters aren't really three dimentional (or not enough), it's just way too focused on powers and fights. They seem fun for a while but then when either a battle or two is carried out longer than it should or they fight the next guy after the other it just gets rather repetative and redundantafter a while and it just doesn't add up to much in the end. Like another anime series "Bleach" I haven't written that show off yet but things for that show in my book aren't looking good, I really don't like charcters that are overly arrogant because I find them a little irritating and they have little humanity which is why Ichigo is no where to be found on my favorate characters list. The show seem I'll admit like a good idea at the time but that damn Soul Society arc is just way way too long, how far is it from point A to B cmon, and those fights are begining to get old fast. There is character drama which is the series redeming factor but it happens very little and then it becomes all fighting all over again. That's why I go for Shojo manga/anime or even outside sources more because they have all of those qualities I explained eariler.
5. Less or nofan service: I think that fan service is a rather inapporprate thing in fact I feel it's like a joke at a party that is funny once, but when told again and again it's not so funny anymore. I used to have a so called friend who was a jerk do that to me in collage, good gravy did he really think he was that funny that why he's not my friend. And you get where I'm getting with this Fan Service is almost a nail in the coffin for an anime, it's too distracting, ridiculous, and just pointless. I want to see story and character in anime, I don't want to always see a lot of those bodily shots all the time, that why I don't like the anime/manga "Air Gear" a cleched series which is guilty of having too much of it, it's all flash but not enough substance.
Ok, this is going to be short I'm going to give out my top ten list of the overrated and personal favorate anime in my book. I'm going to started with the overrated.
The dreaded 10 overrated anime: Don't get me wrong there are at least two or three that I like because their either good or a guilty pleasure, but are guilty all the same. However there are seven of them that just deserve no mercy. These shows are guilty of three things being overhyped, overlong, and overrated. These are shows that are famous but either for the wrong reasons or too much credit then then really deserve (some don't deserve it at all). So these are the usual suspects and the verdict is guilty on all charges.
10. Case Closed/Detective Conan: Not a bad series but not a great one (personally a guilt pleasure of mine). From a premise that is the biggest inconsistance (and many others, didn't his girlfriend ever think about going to his apartment and looking at a photo album), the group of kids as well as a bad P.I. who are characters that I find rather annoying, and after all of the mysteries Conan has solved (which I'll admit are rather easy sometimes) you'd of think he'd of picked up a lead to find a cure for his condition but hasn't yet, I mean cmon Conan try harder.
9. Inuasha: I like this series but not that much. The one thing that really ticks me off about this series is that fact it loops on itself. Just as they found all the jewel shards they'd have to start all over again, same with whenever they kill Naraku he just comes back. It's the same with character development it then goes back to square one. I find this a little irritating and repetative, lets put this in metaphoric terms lets say your playing a video game for hours and hours, you finally get to the final level and are about to beat the game but then suddenly some jerk thinks it's so funny to suddenly at that moment press the reset button and it starts all over again (on a side note it's happened to me three times and those jerks are not my friends anymore, playing that pratical joke is always a bad sign of a person). Yeah all for nothing, all that hard work and effort down the drain. So it can be a bit of an unforfilling experence sometimes.
8. Dragon Ball Z: I love the chracters, story development, but most of all fights but they go on longer than they should to the point where you want to say end already.
7. Bleach: Explained on top.
6. Yu Yu Hackasho: Gulity of the same thing as Dragon Ball Z but most of all just feel way too familar.Plus there isn't much drama or even mystery in genral so it doesn't add up to anything.
5. Prince of Tennis: Could be an inspirational sports story except that the main character is one dimentional (so he's no Rocky) ,not many character relationships or drama, and the shear redundace of those tennis matches where it's one after another to go up to this level or that you'll after a while feel like you've been in that tennis court too long.
4. Naurto: This show is one big cleche rip off in my book, concepts all to familar from Dragon Ball Z, Harry Potter the list goes on. Kids just don't always make good characters besides that Naurto kids sort of annoys me a little. And worst of all it's way way too long.
3. Peacemaker: This show was a good idea gone bad, where it does have a main plot but then they had nothing but filler episode (which was nothing but senseless comidy)and they didn't get to the main plot till it got to the end. By that time it was too late I already lost interest, and you will too because it's no Kenshin, it's way way far from it.
2.One Piece: So much of the same crap as I explained, overlong story, fights, and one dimentional characters. Plus Lufia is annoying and always looks like he's on something.
1. Pokemon: Oh, god how I hate this show. Because it is the same thing over and over again for like 500 episodes what the hell, and Team Rocket they have to be the worst anime villians ever, I mean they have enough money and means to afford sofisticated equipment to off the group to get Pickachu by now, but they always seem to screw something up and well you get it, Team Rocket just needs to get another job cause they're not doing so hot. And it all adds up to nothing because Ash has to collect one too many badges to go to this tournament or that. But after those tournaments he doesn't like win an olympic metal, a pot of gold, or a girl no he has to do the same thing all over again. It's just like I said like reseting a video game just when you've made the most progress all for nothing, just like this show worthless in my book.
Now down to the final article for today which are my personal best of the best anime.

And you are right about me, I'll admit in real life I'm not really the patient type, I do get impatient (sometimes a little easily) when it comes to certain things.
In movies or anime I don't really mind patience and suspense, it's just I don't really like to be kept in that state too long because that is when it starts to lose me and I start to get tired and lose a little interest. That is always a bad sign because that's when I feel an arc has lost some of it's momentum. It just whenever you wait a certain amount of time you expect to be rewarded for your patience, but when taking it to far and then suddenly throwing a curve ball on the audience, it's almost not even worth it anymore. There just needs to be a episode limit on show arcs and as I said anime shows in general. On a sidenote, I'm starting to like the show Bleach a little but just like Case Closed it's in my book sort of a guilty pleasure of mine, I mean it's no masterpiece (and never will be) but it's sort of fun sometimes.
Hey, everyone have different personalities and yours is no different. You view things like some people don't and I defineitely view things different as well. We're all unique in some way, In other words see "points of view".
With that said what do you think of Trigun?
It's only what like 26 episodes. Not that long of a series. It's just also one of my favorite anime.
I want to know what you think of the show.
Inuyashafan1
And I really like the length it's just right, it's the kind of length as I stated before in my blog that I perfer the most.
On another sidenote I have read some of the manga series which isn't quite finished yet, but interesting all the same and actually slightly longer (in a good way) and with some differnces compared to the anime. So, just like you I like the show/manga Trigun.

To be Honest here, I have seen all the episodes of Dragonballz and Inuyasha more than twice. Case Closed I have not. Same case for Yu Yu Hakusho.
From your introduction - I see you hate being in suspense. Case Closed has a lot of episodes more than DBZ and Inuyasha combined. So I do agree with you that's too many to watch and comprehend. At least each episode is defferent,(and some have parts 2), but the storyline doesn't continue because each case is different.
Dragonballz - I have seen it since they first aired it in america. To me the best anime ever. The storyline continues, sagas end and new ones are formed, best action, some good humor, but i prefer the action better. Great heros, same for villains. Has 290+ episode(Not including GT). (I tell myself it will probably be too difficult to life-action the movie Probably will)once again probably the best anime show ever. Don't matter what saga it was.
Note: My username may confused you there.
Inuyasha - I'm going to have to agree with you there. Straight up the truth what you said(I have said it myself as well) It's not that long but i hate how it ends. Sesshomaru my favorite character so when i see him it's awesome. I guess the different episodes have me entertained.(When i mean different the storyine doesn't cintinue, because the whole anime series they're trying to kill naraku unlike DBZ they don't have sagas)That's what I like DBZ because it has different "BIG" villains. so see here why i like DBZ, i mentioned why it's better than inuyasha.
Yu Yu Hakusho - I have seen the first full season. Drak Tournament and everything. The 2nd season i can say i saw alomst everything - sensui battle with yusuke. Only seen him a couple of times in his demon form. Good series.
Case Closed - I like the fact that each episode has different cases. I just found out on these forums that Case Closed has over 450+ episodes, that's a lot. Don't remember what episode I last saw. (4 years ago on TV was the last time I saw Case Closes Youtube has only the first 6 episodes)
Hope one day to watch them all.
I'll tell you this I have a lot of patience, I'll watch the episode over and over no matter what. I'm just like that. Of course the episode have to be good.
The rest on your list i'm not really a big fan some i heard of but never seen even an episode. Pokemon - I have seen the first 3 seasons. But they got way over hand with the rest. I mean and i agree what you said that it repeats etc.. I agree with everything you had to say ( a little like Inuaysha but inuyahsa is way shorter)Don't watch pokemon nor play the games anymore. But my favorite is Charmander and always will. But please it just too long and no one will ever finish watching the whole pokemon series. Team rocker method freakin' irritates me as well. Pokemon most overrated show ever. at least Case Closes has different cases.
So that's all i have to say. And sorry for the typo's if there are some.
