I don't get it. Didn't staff pretend to hear us that the new design was too white and we were going blind? Guess what! It's even whiter? What gives? Does TV.com want to chase away all it's users?

OldBill--It's a shame. I just started contributing again, right before this newest redesign. Now I've started retiring from some of my shows, which I never did before. I'll wait to see if any changes happen. I don't know if I plan to stay, or not. The site has seemed pretty dead since the redesign in September. It's not much fun contributing, like it used to be before the redesign and voluminous bugs, with more redesigns! I just don't get why they are chasing away the people that are building the site.

I find it interesting (in a bad way) that jaxiecracks starts her comment on the new redesign with the statement "don't worry, you can still contribute..." -- it just makes me suspicious of what the next uncalled-for redesign will bring. No more contributions, kick the user/contributors to the curb like the garbage that they are. That seems to be the attitude that the staff has towards us.
I haven't posted a blog in 9 months because my last one is still so relevant; how the staff is wasting their time 'fixing' things that don't matter at all while leaving the old bugs running rampant on the site.

Oh, hey, look at that! I posted my comment on Dec. 31st, 1969! Pretty good, since the internet didn't exist then!

Funny, Stig! This latest redesign really is telling me that the staff has no interest in what the users want. I've never felt that before, here. I felt that staff cared, even if their hands were tied. Why keep making the site worse with "improvements"? It goes beyond logic. It would not matter so much if usable functions didn't get broken every time CBS or the design genius gets a new idea for the site. Plus I'm going blind with the white. They promised to fix it, but it's being ignored and worsened.

Mark my words: next it will be membership fees.

And you thought this site couldn't be anymore crappier?....think again. :s

HOEECH: Mark my words: next it will be membership fees.
At least if we had membership fees TPTB might listen to us more. The old saying "Money Talks" comes to mind.
I agree with you and TheOldBill they are trying run off long standing members. Scott-

It's almost close to all users being gone. They just don't give a damn.

They made it clear once tvtome.com became tv.com that they didn't want contributions or contributors. It shouldn't surprise anyone that they continue to make it more and more difficult for us.

Sorry folks, I wanted to comment on your comments, but the blog comment feature was broken, I thought! It wasn't working. Then I finally realized, today, that I had been logged out. It's almost impossible to see whether you are logged on or off! Great design feature--not!

It is chasing people away.

I'm so used to it now it scares me.

Lykophantom: Welcome to my blog! I agree with you.
Spyrick: I was used to it until the new change with the dropdown favorites box and the extra white logo.
