There is something happening here

What it is... ain't exactly clear

There's a... no wait, there's no man with a gun over there....

Basically, another malfunction is happening to my account on this site. Earlier I wrote of not being able to log on. Well now I cannot log out. I have been logged into this site for almost a week, I think.

If anyone knows how to relieve me of this nightmare that is tv.com, please let me know. I wrote them two days ago and no one answered my email. I'm beginning to thing HAL runs tv.com. It has to be run by robots because I've never heard from an actual, living breathing entity.

ANYBODY OUT THERE TV.COM?!

LOL!!!

Something strange happened to my account and I was off tv.com for about three weeks. It was the strangest thing and I am suddenly able to post again. I was assured I was not banned or suspended. It was some "freakish" malfunction with this site (my assumption - no answer from tv.com as to what it was). lol

Ah well, thank goodness the freakish malfunction is no longer after me. I'm sure I wasn't missed, but I missed posting. Right now there are some fantastic things going on at One Life to Live and I wanted to make some comments over at that forum. So... here I go.

But first, it was nice to read in Carolyn Hinsey's column at Soap Opera Digest that even she acknowledges One Life to Live is the best soap ABC has right now. It seems all the bloggers, editors, and soap watching vets have figured out something in common - ABC soaps, as most soaps today, have gotten really bad - not soapy goodness corny bad, but just... bad.

General Hospital has become ridiculous with absurd storylines and no character development, bad dialogue and wasted talent. They have the best - and possibly best-looking - cast in daytime TV and they are wasted on a badly written soap. It makes me want to cry. And then there is All My Children. I don't watch it any more, but everytime I consider going back I hear the name Ryan or Greenlee and it makes me not want to start back up watching it again. What is going on at ABC Daytime?

Anyway, here's to watching One Life to Live. I actually look forward to their quadrangle (it's not from h*ll) and the "who's the daddy" stuff. It's great when it's done right.

I leave myself little notes all over. They are quotes scribbled, or somewhat deep thoughts, or observations, or descriptions, metaphors, and such. I found a scribble for an idea for something, and I'm not sure what it was for:

"James Blunt's voice sounds like a munchkin that grew up."

For the life of me I do not know why I wrote this. I might have been watching one of his myriad videos late one night on VH-1 - you know another where it's all close-ups of his face as he sings into the camera walking about town? His ego might be as big as Freda Kahlo's unibrow.

Anyway, I have no idea why I wrote that note. Do you all find little notes scribbled that makes you scratch your head wondering why you wrote it?

Some people just don't have opinions. Like seldomhere.
seldomhere must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could seldomhere possibly have for not rating a single film?
