I would say that my experiance with the AOC PVP beta during the weekend was a very good one. Starting with the downloading of the client file's from Gamespot I was able to completely download them within the first four hours after the beta sign ups started on day one.

During the course of the beta I was surprised that the client only crashed twice for me and the second time was purely my fault due to some tweaking. I was able to run the game with all setting on high and FSAA 16xQ turned on. I found the gameplay the be very enjoyable and the combat system a welcome and needed change for MMO's. Aside from some bug's, a couple of exploits and graphic glitches every once and a while I would say that the game is in a very good state and at the same level of stablelity or better that WOW was in on launch day. Granted that everyone else's experiance will be different considering the thousands of system specs and differance in hardware performance. The PVP beta seems like it was a good experiance for the developer and the players both. I would also like to say that I did also experiance ping times of 200ms. I would hope that this is only because there was only one server and only Funcom know's where it was located.

I've entered into the fileplanet beta since my comcast internet give's me a free subsciption. I look forward to seeing the non PVP side of the game.

System Spec's

Asus Striker Extreme 680i
Q6600
4 Gig's DDR2
2x 8800 GTX SLI (Forceware 174.74)
Vista 64 SP1

There are so many great games being released this quarter. I have no idea where or how I'll have time to play everything on my list. With games like "The Witcher" and "Mass Effect" that will be 40+ hours, it will be hard to get to the others like "Crysis" and "UT3" that have all made it to my list. At least I've managed to complete "Halo 3", "World in Conflict" and the long over due and short lived game play of "HL2:EP2". I better stay clear of that one since I really don't want to go into the idea of so called episodic content and faster releases.

Well I'm sure that I will not be the only person out there looking forward to all these great titles. Good luck.

So after spending eight years in the Marine Corps as a Marine Sniper one may ask himself what's next? The only thing I know right now that being a single father to a two year old is great. It won't be long before my son is mopping the floor with my corpse and we are fraging the rest of the world in the newest games.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like sekoon2.
sekoon2 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could sekoon2 possibly have for not rating a single film?
