but not by alot to be honest the missions are getting better in terms of story but what you do in them seems to remain the same! I'm about half way through the game.
I'm also still not very happy with the way driving feels it feels so slow and is much harder to master I mean in the earlier GTA's I found it much easier and funner.
Shooting is much much better! I love it but I do find the shotgun can be damn over powering in the hands of AI.
The story is very good but i would not call it as epic as some people talk about it.
To put it simple I dont think it should of got a top score on Gamespot.

I agree with you. It's a good game, but I don't think it deserved a 10.

Of corse the shotgun is overpowering! It is great gun

The driving is more "realistic." An SUV drives like an SUV. A sports car drives like a sports car. The individual cars themselves all have weight applied to them so cornering isn't as easy in an SUV as it is with a sports car. And you have to learn to use the brake and e-brake.

^I know that but maybe they should not go for "realistic" I found the other GTA's funnier in the sense that they were really unrealistic.

yea the driving is hard but i like it better
i think it deserves the score so far last mission i did was the first real packie mission.
i love the shooting the most getting in those fights with 1 vs 15 are just so fun with the cover engine.

I had a hard time with the driving until I figured out that for most cars it works very well to use both your handbrake and normal brake at the same time. Then depending on the car--and how far you want the tail to whip out--you either let go of the handbrake or the normal brake first.

Hang in there, mate. Once you get to the end of the story, you'll see why everyone thinks it's so awesome.

I think the 10 score was not too much for this game. Its the best game in many senses. well done Rockstar.
