This guy is a great writer. He's been around for a while but he's gone un-noticed. his show, veronica mars is great. he has a great team of writers and unlike many other creators like for example, amy sherman palladino, he lets his staff write. this makes for great varied tv. he really has chosen the right cast and writers... and his own writing aint too shabby either! give this man and his show a chance. i suspect special things for this guy and i dont hand out praise easy. for some reason i keep coming back for veronica mars and i gave up on lost ages ago. im gonna track rob thomas now, you do it too... why arent you doing it. go, now!

ok, im biased, i loved buffy the vampire slayer. the problem with SMG is that apart from that, she seems to choose the wrong roles. she picks predicatble, lame, comforming films that are a mere copy of recent films but only more a pitiful attempt of its replica. this is harsh but many a time SMG is the only ray of light in a dank sewer of the films she appears. i think that that makes her great. she's professional, no one can deny that. the fact that she doesnt flaunt her life like much of young hollywood means that she will have much more staying power than those with those "erotic tapes." if better roles find her, buffy the vampire slayer will not be the biggest thing in her career, but a tme in her past.

she is talented. i think that the problem people have with her at the moment is not the whole, "well he's 16 years older than you" or scientology but the fact that she has changed so quickly. shes pregnant with his child, shes abandoned movie...

im just gonna put this out there, marti noxon's buffy season openers (s5 and s6) were better than joss' season openers. i enjoy marti's writing. i think they had an edge and depth to them that made everything more grown up on every thing shes...

im just gonna put this out there, marti noxon's buffy season openers (s5 and s6) were better than joss' season openers. i enjoy marti's writing. i think they had an edge and depth to them that made everything more grown up on every thing shes written for. there were always those odd moments when i said, god can she get away with saying that on tv but they were so cleverly disguised and open to interpretation that marti noxon was able to get away with a lot in her writing. i particularly loved an episode in buffy called "forever." the dialogue there was soo tight and almost even set the mood for the rest of the season. point pleasant i think fell because of poor casting and poor timing, not writing. someone should give this lady another chance cos shes good.

i really like rebecca rand kirshner... firstly, her name rocks. apart from that her writing aint to bad either! shes got the brits down btw... i do say "sodding" and "shagging" quite a bit. also "always a god mother, never a god" is my favourite...

i really like rebecca rand kirshner... firstly, her name rocks. apart from that her writing aint to bad either! shes got the brits down btw... i do say "sodding" and "shagging" quite a bit. also "always a god mother, never a god" is my favourite episode of the gilmore girls this season so far. it actually had some momentum unlike the rest of the episodes where nothing really happens. i think tv shows should use her more. she has a signature spunk that is recognisable and interesting. She managed to join the buffy team late and still not let it down. the first episode she wrote was true to form and funny as heck... ill be watching if shes writing.

you wouldnt necessarily know it but this woman has probably written some of your favourite tv episodes thats because she gets around. thats not meant in a slutty way (ok, im bad at this) but she really does. i didnt realise it till the other day, i was watching the gilmore girls and there goes her name. id seen the episode before and it was one of my personal favourites but i didnt know. where i first encountered her writing was on buffy and im a big believer in the fact that we must look to the writers and crew not just praise the actors. her writing is funny, and odd. her jokes are subtle and distinctive. she can also make you cry and she can also write with a kind of endeering innocence. i know what i mean! im saddened that the writers on tv.com have less attention than all the other things so i start here to rectify that... and where else better to start than the woman who was the inspiration behind that "vulcanologist/volcanologist" parody on buffy, eh?

gene roddenberry, chris carter, matt groening, david e. kelley, darren star. these are all creators of arguably the most revolutionary shows in tv history but all of these guys have one problem. theiy eventually branch out into other shows that turn out to be exact clones of the shows they started with. joss whedon takes risks. u never know whats gonna happen, whos gonna die, a characters reaction or who will hook up and even with the unpredictability it still seems organic rather than a random loss of ideas. he also isnt guilty of desperately grasping to a sinking ship like matt groening or over playing a franchise... so if u dont like buffy, dont write off angel or firefly or whatever else he lays his hand to. joss whedon is never the same twice. GENIUS!

Lauren Graham is the heart and soul of all the things ive seen her in. there are rarely occasions where i say that any person on any show could not be replaced and have the show be as good. lauren manages to deliver a scene with charisma and spunk as well as being able to make her characters real and vulnerable. it is a shame that the emmys are a sham. many shows have been overlooked over the years and many actresses too. lauren is no exception to this sodding and sad rule. the only, one tiny problem i have with lauren graham is that is she playng lorelai gilmore or is that who she is? whatever the answer, who cares, the gilmore girls to even the pacifier would have been a lesser form of themselves without her.
