Hey everybody, long time no blog so here I am to bore you all with my inane remarks and such.
EDIT: I wrote a long ass blog about nothing really, mostly me being all mopey and crap and decided not to inflict that upon you all. So here's something else...
Sarah's Recommended List
Song you should listen to: "The Funeral" by Band of Horses - I've never heard of the band before but I came upon this song and it's a really cute song. I know "cute" is a weird word to describe a song but it just makes you feel happy which is never a bad thing.
Download it here.
Movie you should watch: Becoming Jane - I would normally stay away from a movie that has "Chick Flick" stamped across and even though this movie is far from perfect (there are some slow spots and plotholes) I was really impressed with this movie's two leads. Usually I try to avoid romances, not because I don't like them but even if it has great writing, directing, actors, and everything else, if I'm not buying the love between the two main characters then it ruins it for me. For this movie it was the chemistry between the two that had me really enjoying the film. I'm not a huge Anne Hathaway fan (sorry but Princess Diaries wasn't my cup of tea) but she's quite good in this and her scenes with James McAvoy (the first film I've seen with him although I want to see more since he was awesome!) are terrific. You can't predict a thing like on-screen chemistry and this is a case where it just works. Had me feeling like a girly girl the rest of the afternoon.
Watch the trailer here.
Book you should read: "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim" by David Sedaris - This summer has been good in one respect, I discovered the witty work of David Sedaris. His books are primarily essays about his life and his family and he's led a very funny, quirky life (yeah I used the word quirky so sue me) and his family is just as...unique. A great read. I finished this book in one afternoon, a rare thing for me to do.
TV show you should be watching: Well it's summer so most everything either sucks or is off-air until fall but if you have Showtime you should all watch DD's show Californication. It's not for everybody, if you have delicate sensibilities (meaning naked people and crude talk scare you) then perhaps it's not for you. For those of us not lucky enough to have that channel you should watch....*thinks* Ah yes, The Colbert Report. It's still new and Stephen Colbert is one of the funniest men out there. Need I say more?
Well it's now 2 am I should go off into the night and try to find something to do. Perhaps sleep...

Hope you had a good night sleep when you went to bed afterwords!
Oh.. the song is downloaded! Thanx!
@sanda - Hope you like the song and the trailer!
@BekkaLass - Yeah I liked HoD too but he's SO different in this show then that movie but nonetheless talented. Hope you like it even if DD plays a much darker character than what we are used to seeing.
