That is what my last three blogs have been about. All I can say is be grateful that I haven't gotten started on the mice, moths and millipedes. The MMM's. Till now that is. That would be mice that make Sassy fall over in fright and hurt her shoulder, then tease and torment Leah till she snatches them up in her little mouth before dropping them in disgust so they can crawl into the heater and DIE leaving us to get pliers and drag their little bodies out through the vent by their dead little tails. Our house is a warzone with poison everywhere behind barriers built to keep Leah from sampling said poison. That would also be the moths that flutter around outside desperately trying to find the light, all the while battering their little moth bodies in vain against the windows and then when Sassy dares to take the dog outside they chase her up the ramp to the back door where she slams the door in their little moth faces while trying to work out how best to let the dog in without the moths coming in with her.And lastly the millipedes that have decided to turn the house into their own little version of an elephant graveyard. They aren't scary, or harmful... they just like to come inside our house to DIE. Yay us.Thus concludes the series of blogs dedicated to the wonderful inhabitants of Sassy's house. Till something new shows up that is. Much loff to you all!

I'll trade you my spiders for your moths. What do ya say? I'll even throw in a can of Raid.
Have a great weekend. Scott-

Noah - Yay! You love us! That makes one.
gmvail - You can have some of my creepy crawlies if you like.
Scott - Hmmm... No deal. I'm more scared of the spiders than the moths.

Hi Sassy, there's this new gadget out you plug it in and it sends out some sort of sonic sound which keeps all kinds of varmints out, bugs too! HERE.

Did you ever read my previous blog poem about the ants? I can relate. I used glue traps to get my apt. free of mice. It's harmless but annoying to pets if they get in it (I'll never forget the flap, flap, flap sound of my cat trying to free herself from the glue trap at four am! After that I put them in cat-inaccessible locations).
I also used peanut butter in the little traps that don't kill the mice, just capture them. Do they have that stuff where you live?

I suggest a full body protective super-suit for you and Leah

I'm really not a fan of millipedes. Or centipedes. Nasty critters.
With the moths, maybe you could turn on the porch light and turn off the inside light before opening the door. That should keep the moths occupied so you can get in without unwanted moth company.

LMH68 - I should start taking pictures of them and posting them shouldn't I.
Indiana - Seems to be too cold for them at the moment.Aunt - Hehehehee... I just squished an ant.April - We've tried one of those. Doesn't seem to work.
Maybe Aussie pests are immune. LMH68 - What would that be? It works? GIMME!Sesho - I do remember that.
Unfortunately my father is of the kill first, ask no questions later frame of mind.

ainav - Excellent notion! Where do I get one of those?
Home - Good idea. Thankfully at the moment they seem to be leaving us alone.
Hippo - Yes, I have, and she's still around. She's a busy little bee at the moment, working 6 days a week. So she doesn't have much time for online life. We're hoping to get together soon. T'will be the first time I've seen her in a year. Deanna - I'm allergic to dust as well. And hay. Which was fantastic for someone who worked on a farm. Danharr - Don't think we have them here in town... If the snake problem had gotten worse we could have called the snake guy to clean them out, but other than that I don't think there is anyone in town we could call. It ain't very big here.
Sparkle - Of loffly. How kind you are! I think the ladybugs look the tastiest.
