I just stepped on a slug. With no shoes on. Or socks. Just my nekkid foot. And a slug. Meeting in the dark on a cold winters night. *shudders*

Ah well, I scrubbed them both up nice and clean (even the one without the slime on it). Now my feet smell like lemon myrtle. All's well that ends well I guess.

I am of course rather sad that my first blog in almost three months was about a dead slug.

Oh and if anyone is wondering how I came to be outside, in the dark, with bare feet and no way of seeing what I was stepping on.... just ask my dog. Grrrrr....

Hi Sassy, Welcome back! Hope all is well. Actually stepping on a slug is a good thing. They eat entirely green plant material so just pretend it was wet grass instead!

Well, the last blog was about snakes, so it seems to fit. Good to see you around again!

I think I might need a hug now.

It's been a while. Glad you're back and may your next blog include something more pleasant than slugs. But I guess that depends on how cooperative your dog is.

I thought you were talking about me from the blog titled! I am so conceited.

Yes icky slugs and bare feet, but squishyhippos are good with anything (and I mean that in the most innocent way possible!!)

I bet that was a nice surprise.

AprilFox - That's what I used to tell people when they stepped in cow poop.

Indiana - And the one before that was about ants. I sense a trend beginning here.

Ilyana - Lemon foot now.

Who-be - A sluggy hug?

LMH68 - I guess a foot is easier to clean than socks.

VMF - Did you have bare feet too?

Deanna - Not anymore.

Home - Or if I'm smart enough to take a torch with me next time.

Hippo - Of course they are! Them hippos rock they do.

Homer - Not that word I would use....

Mary - Yep, tis winter. And no, no salt. The dog would lick it up. Yes, she's that dumb.

Stepping on slugs is gross, but I've seen worse. I knew some girl who I used meet walking to a bus stop. One day she was wearing sandals, and one of them fell off her foot, and she sort of tripped. Well, she put her foot out in front of her to steady herself and she ended up stepping on a frog.

I've heard they're like little cushions for your toes. Any truth to that? I asked Leah. She said you wanted to go outside in the middle of the night. Strange. Verrrry strange.

HistorySeeker - Awww, the poor little froggy. I am glad that it was just a slug.

Glaceo - Slimy cushions, sure. And she lies!!! Don't pay any attention to her little doggy eyes! They lie!!

Hi Sassy and welcome back. Glad to hear from you. What we go through for our four legged loved ones. Or in my case supreme rulers of the house (and in there minds the world). Have a great weekend. Scott-
