I was reading a Teletext interview with Amanda Tapping today and it mentioned Sanctuary (the web based sci-fi show Amanda now does) and that it has been picked up by the SCI-FI channel in the US......and ITV in the UK.

If this is true,I am soooo excited!.....I've been banging on about the show to my family since it started a year ago,coz they are all Stargate SG-1 fans and like Amanda.However as it was only on the net to start with,and I don't have a dvd burner,I couldn't show them how good it is.....now I can!

I know they are now making some more ready to be broadcast as a series for TV,as well as the other 8 mini episodes that were online,and I hope they show them soon.

All I can say is: I hope it was not a miss-print and ITV do show it...at a reasonable time,preferably.

EDIT: Turns out they have picked it up and it will be shown on ITV4 later this year,when the new lot of episodes have been filmed.

This news apparently came to light at the beginning of LAST month.....god am I slow on the uptake or what?! LOL

I'm still happy.ITV4 may not be terrestrial but it is on Freeview so my family can still watch it!

Receiving them would be nice.......Not that I'm being pushy or anything!

I am a Southampton FC fan through and through.Always have been,always will be,whatever happens in the next week and a half.

We are in $hit street at the moment,though.Currently in the relegation zone of the Championship and with only 2 games left (both of which we have to win to stand a chance of staying up).....I'm not very optimistic.

We face West Brom tonight..and it's on telly (sky sports 1)..so I can watch our demise if I choose to....rather than just listen to the radio.

This weekend coming we take on Sheffield United in our last game of the season,and possibly our last in this league.

I'm so worried right now I could cry...seriously.

When we were relegated from the Premiership a few years ago I did cry...I know,I'm a very sad individual aren't I?

Anyway...please everyone wish us luck (unless you support one of the other relegation threatened teams...and then I will understand if you don't! )

I'm off to go and chew my nails to the elbows......
