And 2008 went by fast... too fast...
Well... didn't post this blog earlier because I was too busy finishing the last route in Fate/stay night. I was reading it non-stop for three days and finally got through Heavens Feel 
It had the best story IMO even though some people dislike it and can give that route the nickname... Fate/stay in the kitchen 
UBW route is still more epic and has the better fights but I like the story in Heavens Feel. I haven't played the Fate route because I find myself bored thanks to knowing what's going to happen due to watching the anime before reading the visual novel.
And well... because I was around youtube watching Fate/stay night related things I bumped into Fate/unlimited codes. Low and behold it is for the PS2 and it JUST came out two weeks ago. I thought this game came out a LONG time ago... but that was in the arcades. And feeling the need for MOAR Fate/stay night related things... I got the game I got the Fate/unlimited codes SP Box Edition. And since it needed a Japanese PS2 to play it... I got a Japanese PS2 And yep, it's red bulletsword 
I had to get a new PS2 because I gave my original Phat PS2 to my sister's boyfriend in exchange for him buying me some Naruto cards online
That right there came to $330 with shipping and handling AND an extra red PS2 controller... and that's also all my money 
I expect it by the end of next week and I can't wait for it. With this, it starts my Japanese PS2 import collection AND anime figure collection. To tell you the truth I might get myself another figurine before I get a PS2 game from Japan 
Anyone has a Japanese PS2 game collection and would like to recommend some games? There isn't much that I've looked at so far but it doesn't hurt to ask.
So my new year started with a bang... I think. Happy New Year and hopefully 2009 is indeed a good year.

As for anime figurines, Saber will be my first one... well I do have a FLCL one but I don't know where I put it

any chance you could get any of the Haruhi games on the PS2? or maybe... Shuffle! On The Stage?
I would get the Haruhi game... if it was still available in limited or special edition or something... and if I had the money. There has to be a justifying reason to get it if most, if not, all there is to it is reading Japanese text. Also never got really into Shuffle! so I'll pass for now... I guess I'll look for some games to possibly get for the PS2, I've already looked at what figurines I want

I wish I had Japanese lessons... or at least minimal knowledge to at least partially understand visual novels that aren't translated.

And since you have a Japanese PS2... wait, can you even read Japanese? I'd suggest... more visual novels?
And you should post pics of your figurines (unless you already did, then just kindly redirect me to them).
