From as far back as i can remember he's been one of my favourite actors. i remember being show Empire of the Sun many times in grade school. What an outstanding performance and only 13 at the time. that's genuine talent, and from that point his films and acting ability just got better and better why hasn't this guy won an oscar yet? seriously? the machinist my favourite movie of all time, not even a mention for that. the clowns who run the oscars don't know s*** . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

So many young celebrities today have no talent.It's just refreshing to see a young actor with genuine talent, who's not big headed and or running around acting like a spoiled brat. I think (and hope) he'll have a very long career. Some people on imdb are comparing him to river pheonix and dicaprio. I can't disagree with that.I've only seen a few of his films but he's already one of my favourites. I can't wait to see what he does next.I'm counting down the days until into the wild comes out. Not to sound lame but i'm interested in acting and he one of the actors who inspire me to go for it because he's so good at it. I watch him in movies and think "I want to do that!"
